This morning - trip to Archidona and Antequera.

Just back home

I had to got to the notary in Archidona concerning obtaining an "apositilla de la Haya" for the company´s articles of association and another one for the document stating that I am a director of the company.

Ing Real Estate require this so that the custodian bank Dubus can assign the shares to the company in respect of our holdings in Zubiarte Inversiones and Iberian Assets which we acquired in 1999 when we purchased shares in the public company Filo SA.

The notary advised us to get the British Consul in Málaga to do this as it would possibly be less complicated.

After which I drove to Antequera passing the "Lover´s Leap" on my left and going to the nursery garden first.

Loli., Miguel Angel´s wife advised me as I was leaving that they are now stocking Curry plants which are selling at 16 euros each. I said I would buy one on my next visit.

After which I drove to Mercadona and did my big shop, filling up with petrol at Eroski as it is the cheapest in Antequera apart from the GALF filling station just down the road from Eroski. GALP were the sponsors of my last season of FF1600 in Portugal (1995)

The proposed BBQ table is really not the one that I wanted and when I go to Málaga next wednesday I will see if I can get what I wanted.

I have just got back home and really there is nothing like home. I have opened the front door so the scent from the Jasmine wafts into the house.

I went to Torremolinos on the coast first and the weather was not as nice as here. I parked in the center of the town and went to the optician´s first. They are going to see if they can repair my unbreakable titanium spectacles under guarantee. I told the to repair them anyway even if they were not covered so hopefully I will be able to collect when I have my appointment with the oncologist which has not been changed from May 9 to May 11. I had planned to have a coffee at a friends bar/restaurant La Cacerola La Cacerola in the center of Torremolinos. Tim was there when I went to the optician but not when I returned so I went into Mercadona and did a relatively big shop.

I decided not to got to IKEA - well no company!  If and when there is company I expect she will like to go there. I drove past IKEA and went to Carrefour (Málaga) and ordered two more watch straps as Ramon Nadal sponsored Timeforce do not last 2 years on the model that I have - I had a look arround Carrefour and bought 3 boxer shorts and then came home.

Andy mowed the lawns last night and will return in a couple of weeks. He is going to have a look in Leroy Merlin to see if they have the the bench/seat unit that I want for the proposed BBQ area now that the 2m wide path has been made (less gravel). If anyone wants building work, landscaping, swimming pool constructions and maintainance he is the person to have in this area. He is ever prepared to travel down to the coast.

I have done all the rest of the landscaping by myself and have moved 30 lorry loads of earth with a bucket and spade

Above the Winter Jasmine whose scent currently wafts into the house if the front door is left open. Normal Jasmine will not survive here due to the frosts

My friend came today and the lawn has been mowed. Tonight or first thing this morning I have to sprinkle the fertilizer all over it.

In the rear patio I have laid 3 more sacks of Mantilla and Sahara grass seed - Really need 4 or 5 more sacks and maybe another box of Sahara grass seed but this will probably have to wait until October.

If a lady does suprise me and is here this summer I have a garden swing to erect for this area.

Hopefully David will come with his machine when he has finished my neighbors drive to make the path to the proposed barbacue area. I will probably just order one load of gravel as I will move this by hand as it helps me to keep fit and in doing so keep the waistline down.

My neighbors phoned me up this morning and have invited me to lunch on my birthday at Hotel Los Dolmenes in Antequera., so I will go down to Málaga / Torremolinos maybe at the end of the week.

As the webmaster has lived many years in Spain he is considered virtually Spanish by his Spanish friends and this morning has published a lot of songs with "letra española" - especially as the site gets quite a few visits from it´s posts on Teresa Menodoza La Riena del Sur and Mujeres y Hombres y visaversa. He caught part of today´s program and David was giving Arancha a hard time about her date with "Nacho" - Nacho has had enough of the program and departed!

CD Universe did not send me the 4 records ordered so have reordered with CD Wow and have just been notified that this one is on it´s way

This morning I decided to go to the doctors. My cough will not go, my throat is soar and my lips and roof of mouth are numb!  Like Russell Grant´s horoscope said I need a break before I break and I think that the Princess also needs one after what those bastards uadreams.com/external holding (gibraltar) limited have put us through.

Luckily my friend has not been to cut the lawn so guess thata it will be this afternoon or this evening. Luckily the weather is great as you can see above.

I just wish that the Princess could contact me and tell me what her trouble is, rather than just visiting this site. She has nothing to fear from me and I have always said that I will look after her.

Had a couple of very nice birthday cards from my daughters for Monday :=)

I had and American company looking for free advertising so a couple of times I had to tell them politely NO

My time has to be paid for and also the company has investments to manage without wasting time giving free space here.

I am just back from Antequera - at long last I think that my flu has gone. They phoned me yesterday to say that my new glasses were ready so went in this morning to collect them - I called by the nursery garden center and bought one plant and then went to La Verónica C/ Cuesta de Talavera S/N. ANTEQUERA (MÁLAGA) Telf: 952 70 40 07 Fax: 952 70 21 47 info@cclaveronica.com ...www.cclaveronica.com/ to collect the new spectables -  I bought a shirt at C&A. It would have been nice to have company and that the Princess, who knows who I mean, will not want for clothes as I am sure she knows. I promised to look after her and I am a man of my word.

English viewers do not forget to watch "The Killing" - it seems that we are dealing with a serial killer - the black heart gift to the 2 victims his mistake!

My  influenza has not gone.

The bloody mobile phone said that it wanted charging in the middle of the night and in getting up I broke my glasses.

Still raining so what do I do?

It does not pay to have expensive glasses - making do with an old pair.

If the weather improves tomorrow will go to Antequera to see if the titanium ones can repaired and also purchase a new pair.

When I went ill the central heating boiler went but at least I have got an alternative source of heating

Just returned home from Antequera, unloaded the monthly shopping at Mercadona from the car.

Was up at 7.00 am as I thought that I had an early appointment at Antequera hospital but it was 10.30 am and not 9.00 am so this allowed me to get the site up to date before I left. We have set the time at East Coast Time rather than Central European Time which allows me to post prior to 9.00 am CET so that it will show the actual day rather than the day before - This is particularly important for publishing the daily stars.

My appointment on Monday with the specialist is at 9.00 so will probably go to the garden center Viveros Soria afterwards, Lidl, Aldi and the Centro Comercial La Verónica shopping Mall afterwards.

Apart from the horoscopes I manage to publish 6 other posts - see that the Russian Romance Scam in the end was published yesterday so there are 2 up there right now. Will have to edit later on this afternoon. I will have to do the weekly horoscopes for february as well today.

In my lounge it is probably 21°c :=)
