The pen is mightier than the sword - A picture is worth a thousand words
The
US insurance market is a big growth opportunity for Pro Global
Insurance Solutions PLC according to chief executive Artur Niemczewski.
The
outsource specialist already boasts many of the world’s largest
insurance and reinsurance companies as clients, but after a buy-out a
couple of years ago the road is just beginning says Niemczewski.
Changes
to legislation in the US are offering up big opportunities he says and
Pro Global’s expertise in highly technical areas such underwriting
support, reinsurance accounting and closed insurance books has put it in
an ideal position to benefit.
The weekend is over and stocks are mixed. Most global stock markets opened lower on leftover selling from Friday but have stabilized. Japan's Nikkei, which suffered and 8% loss Friday, has been trading higher most of the night. U.S. stocks are looking at losses. Some analysts say the worst is not over with Brexit, as the British negotiate the best way to leave the European Union. Other analysts say Friday's sell-off was a knee jerk reaction that was overdone. Oil prices are edging higher but volatility is likely to remain over the near term, as the British pound fell further and sent the U.S. dollar soaring. A stronger greenback makes oil more expensive for buyers. Shareholders of Williams Companies
Israel

talks, encouraged by Washington, to end a rift over the Israeli navy's
killing of 10 Turkish pro-Palestinian activists who tried to sail to the

West Jerusalem.
A
recession is likely following the UK’s decision to leave the EU says
the head of trading at ETX Capital in London, although the market has
received some comfort after finance minister George Osborne insisted the
country would not rush into a break-up with the bloc.

THE INTERNATIONAL PAPERS - Monday, June 27: Britain and the EU are
grappling with a post-Brexit crisis, the world papers report. Also, it

Spain’s
political deadlock is likely to continue as the conservative Popular
Party (PP) failed to win a majority needed to form a government on its
own.
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy will need to assemble a coalition with the socialists or the centrist Ciudadanos party.
It's just six months since the last general election, which saw a four-way split in the vote and political deadlock.

The
WTI Crude Oil market fell somewhat significantly during the course of
the session on Friday as we got news that the United Kingdom was leaving
the European Union. We crashed into the 50 day exponential moving
average, which should be somewhat dynamically supportive. In fact, we
bounced towards the end of the day so the question then remains whether
or not we can get a little bit of follow-through during the day. On the
chart, you can see that I have the 50 day, the 100 day, and the 200 day
exponential moving averages. At this point in time, the longer-term
trend is still to the upside but we need to see some type of bounce or
supportive candle in order to start going long. On the other hand, if we
break down below the $46 level, I believe we will then reach down
towards the 200 exponential moving average, colored black on this chart.
