US Vice President JD Vance asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to halt attacks on oil tankers linked to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium at Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
The pipeline carries mainly Kazakh oil with companies linked to U.S. investment firms. Ukraine's compliance was partly influenced by President Zelensky's hopes of obtaining another interceptor for Patriot systems or these licenses to produce Patriot missiles.
