It's no secret a weaker currency is a key part of U.S. President Donald Trump's economic agenda. But he wouldn't be the first. From Richard Nixon in the 1970s to Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, past presidents have also deliberately looked to weaken the dollar to try and rebalance global trade.
