Cantante, conocida como -La Alondra de la Frontera-, nacida en Texas pero orgullosamente Mexicana hasta las cachas y pilar fundamental de nuestra música al norte y sur del río Bravo;
Lydia Mendoza nació el 12 de mayo de 1916 en Houston, Texas, hija de Francisco y Leonor Mendoza. Su familia provenía del norte de México y ella y sus hermanos crecieron entre Monterrey, México, y el sur de Texas. Su madre tocaba la guitarra y cantaba canciones mexicanas, lo que hizo que Mendoza quisiera tener su propio instrumento. A los 4 se hizo una con una tabla, seis clavos y varias tiras de goma. Tarek al-Tayyib Muhammad Bouazizi (March 29, 1984 – January 4, 2011; Arabic: طارق الطيب محمد البوعزيزي), more commonly known as Mohamed Bouazizi, was a Tunisian street vendor who set himself on fire on December 17, 2010, in protest of the confiscation of his wares and the harassment and humiliation that was allegedly inflicted on him by a municipal official and her aides. His act became the catalyst for the Tunisian Revolution, inciting demonstrations and riots throughout Tunisia in protest of social and political issues in the country. Anger and violence intensified following Bouazizi's death, leading then-President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to step down on January 14, 2011, after 23 years in power.
