How to effectively use stops to lock in profits (new video)

Aries - My Horoscope today - Guess it is right :-)

Daily stars for today 21 February 2009

Usually the term “brainstorming” refers to a group whose members are working together to come up with new ideas or solutions for existing problems. While that's exactly what you'll be doing, you'll be part of a committee of one, since the issues in question are deeply personal, and the discussions you'll be having will be with yourself.

Another UAlady´s experience (by hd1993)

"Hi, I'm new to the site but have read comments from many similar sites including this one, so I've been meaning to post my experiences for some time. I don't think my experience is unique, and I don't think its the same for everyone who goes there. Anyway...Here it is!

Earlier this year I visited Ukraine, using both Uadreams and Ualadys

First of all, my bags went missing at Kiev airport. They eventually arrived 5 days later, with half my luggage missing. Yes, shirts, pants, even my unopened toiletries were missing. The bags were locked of course, but the key was required by customs to inspect it prior to forwarding it on. So someone, customs, couriers??? along the way profited!!!

The next issue was that agency admin insists that Hotels charge until midnight, so even if you want an overnight stay, the agency insists on charging 2 days accom., claiming its the hotel that does this. This is not true! Hotels book you in in the morning until the following morning. Thsi is the agency making some extra $ at your expense!!!

Next was the hotel in Poltava that I was to stay at (from the reservation details they sent for Visa purposes) denied knowing anything about it. Apparently the agency used their letterhead to get the details and format so they could send me reservation details to my email address!!! I ended up at a second rate hotel. Clean enough, but not the same standard as the one they had supposedly reserved, and I had paid for.

Met with several girls in Poltava. The one I had corresponded the most with Masha G, I met first. Expensive restaurant for 2 hours, she remembered very little about me, and so we ate while she answered her mobile every 10 mins. Promised to see me the next day- never happened! Later wrote to me that she had a friend in need!!!!! Try a boyfriend in NEED to check on her!!!!!! Much more likely, don't you think???

Met with other ladies there, and went to other expensive restaurants, and shops. None of the girls can speak ANY English, or so they claim. So interpreters are needed! I should have seen the writing on the wall after this! Spent 5 days with 5 ladies, all the same situations. Dinner with the 3 of us, as the ladies either study or work so have minimal time to spend with you, usually in the evening. Tatyana M, was one who I met a few times and had some fun with also. When she left the agency grabbed my details from their computer. I just happened to be online that evening and saw this on their web-cam. She had a very nice laptop as well!!! Downloaded info for about 2 hours. Later wrote to me from Nikolaev, saying that she wanted to learn English and that for a cheap price, $50 US per week, she could have a tutor visit her home and teach her. Then she could write to me in English!!!!! I thanked her for her offer for me to help her financially and wished her luck with scamming the others. Perhaps she thought she could make more money on her own than with the agency...Am I being cynical???? I posted her on a scammers website and notified the agency. The agency were apologetic claiming they do their best to ensure their ladies don't scam and thanks for letting us know! OOOppppps!!!!!

Then Kharkov with Ualadys. 2 ladies there. Met the first, Julia K, and she said she could not meet with me the following day because of her sick nephew!!!! In our mails she basically told me I was the man for her!

The next lady, Anyutka C, met with her on a number of occasions and enjoyed her company, but basically she was in it for what she could get. While I was there and supplying the goodies, said she wanted to come to visit me when she finished studies next year. After my return heard nothing from her for 5 months until the other day when she wrote me a few words...No comment of where she had been till now etc etc..

Next was Simferopol. Staff there were super slick. ALARM BELLS! Should have listened to them!!! The ladies I was to meet there SUDDENLY had job offers the week before I arrived!! Diana A, ballerina went to another country, and Anita K got a job as a guide!!! I met with 2 other ladies, Irina S and Sasha I. Both only wanting me to take them to expensive restaurants, and shops to buy them clothes!

Went to Lugansk to see if I could connect with 2 other ladies I had written to. Anna N and Elena M. Surprise, both were too busy with business meetings and work!

Tried to arrange meeting some other ladies I had written to in Donetsk, but guess what...One was suddenly overseas, the other too busy with work!!!

Post trip, some ladies continued to write to me and I gave them the benefit of doubt. One of them, Katerina K from Poltava, saying she was wanting to come to visit me in my country, and was working towards that. But it was just to get me to continue writing letters I believe. Had me believing her for a while...But thats the nature of their game too...The other Julia K from Kharkov, continued to vow I was the only man for her and that soon she would be looking at traveling to visit me. Suddenly, her business has gone bankrupt and she needs to relocate...She says...Hope you don't forget me, I'll be in touch soon! Haven't heard from her in 2 months!!!!!

All these girls were in the 20-25 age group. I read on one of the forums that the younger ladies don't know what they want, and better to look at older ladies.

While I was in Kharkov, had similar stories from a guy from he USA. He had written, phoned, sent gifts, video cam...all but proposed to the girl, and he was ready to bring her home with him..Even had a credit card in her name ready to give to her. She didn't even meet with him!!!!! He was devastated and wondered how he was going to fill his remaining 3 prepaid weeks. A guy from the UK, had a similar experience, but then hooked up with another lady, and according to the staff there, they really hit it off. But I never saw him again to find out if its true or not!!!

So the girls exist...well, to some extent. I think you need to realize that there are a lot of "no shows"...
There are other (older) ladies I am still writing to through these agencies, and intend to visit them next year, but have got my eyes open!

I am also using other agencies and am ensuring the odds are in my favor that I will at least MEET someone while I am there!

Last trip and this future trip, I go with the attitude that it is an adventure...New country, people, scenery, situations.....So a holiday of sorts. But will also mention, with no language, you definitely feel like a stranger in a strange land, and at the mercy of the interpreters at the agencies for any English speaking conversation! General attitude of people is gruff, unless they can make money from you e.g. taxi, shop owners etc So take a big bag full of tolerance, an open mind, and enjoy the experience. If you go with the idea that you will return with that honey you have been writing to for the last year, then you are setting yourself up for possible failure!!!

I added the ladies names here in case any of you are corresponding with them, and maybe feel like you are their one and only, and are going there with stars in your eyes and rose colored glasses! Take a big dose of reality before you go to counter balance the fantasy. There was at least one in each of those cities that I thought from our correspondence could have been possibles for the future...But I went there with my eyes open, and realized there was little I could do but lose money if I pulled out at the last minute. Thats the way the agency runs it of course!

There were others I also wrote letters to. Like Ira B from Kremenchug. Spoke of undying love and how we are a perfect match...Until of course I was about to visit...Then she had exams...I offered to postpone until the following month, but then it was I'll be looking for a job...I even suggested I'll just visit for the weekend. Of course there was another excuse, so I just forgot about her and focused on the others.

Each step of the way was an eye opener, so I didn't go there expecting to come home with Mrs Right following soon behind me! If I did, I would have been grossly disappointed.

Oh, one last thing...I would estimate 3 out of 5 girls I saw on the streets of Kharkov especially, were drop dead gorgeous...If only I spoke Russian!!!!! Hahahaha....

I don't know how they do it in such a "POOR" country, but they've got class, and look like they stepped out of a fashion magazine!

For those who think that you will go there to meet a 20 year old babe, who's at least half your age, and you will be able to lure her back to your cave, then your thinking is as Neanderthal as this scenario I've just described. At the end of the night, they go back to their boyfriend or their family, with whatever gifts or experiences they are able to have from being with you.

And how much romance can happen with a Translator sitting with you? Yes they are good at their job, I admit, but imagine having an intimate conversation with a woman here, and your mate was with you relaying the messages between you!!!!! Ummmm...Yeah!!!!

And really guys, if your daughter was to bring home a foreigner to meet you, he didn't speak the language, and he's older than you are, would you hand over your daughter to be taken to some far off land???...Really, let common sense prevail!!! Or at least take a good dose of laxatives, because if you said YES! then you're full of it!!!!!

Good luck, enjoy the romance that there is, and watch out for the scams!!!"

Another UAlady´s experience (by the norwegian)

Interesting story calboy (The Canadian) - I read the finishing at you web site www.ualadyscam.com (Previous post)

I must say you was very naive not taking the signals earlier at day one or two that this was not for real. Still go on buying a ring - champagne and so. I wonder what kind of communication you relay had with her in that 6 months? You never speak about your intentions to marry - about she com to live at your pace - what she do then with her studies - and that type of questions? You also now very little about her family and mother. You never ask about them - what they do and how they are? You took it for granted that when she was at the agency - she was there to marry and leave her country?

I can confirm the same story from another guy I know here. He to goes and visit a woman from UAladys. First trip he come home very happy with meeting his woman. They have been eating dinner with the UA translator and dancing. He had paid to get her a private English teacher and other gifts. One month later he take the next trip and visit her again. He want to invite her to come and visit him. To see how he lives. But suddenly it was this and that and she not wanted to move from her city. Everything for him was just waste of time and his money.

Common - if a agency not let you get any personal information - as UAladys - like a address or a phone number - and your only possibility is to go there and use all their services to get to her - it is not real - just business.

And why take a chance to travel and meet someone you not have any personal references with?

I answer a letter from a woman there my selves a year ago. The one and only letter I used at UA. However I find that same lady on another agency. There I got her address and later we got personal phone contact. But the fun thing was that UAladys still was keeping on sending me letter from this woman. She not send them:) - she smile about it and feel a little embarrassing or ashamed about it.

The sad thing is that there are people that totally don't care and can let a serious guy fly around all the word to meet someone - just to get some gifts - and then just "so what?".

Ukraine Marriage Agency Trip Reflection by a Canadian

UALadyScam

UALadys.com is a scam website. In this website I will show you what happened to me so that no one else will make the same mistake again. Because I am not a tech guy, I don't know how to do good web design. (I used Microsoft Webexpression templates to make this simple website.) But ALL the content in here is true! In total, I've spent more than $1,000 on this agency. ................... Click here to read my story

Ualadys did repay the webmaster´s credits for unused e-mails when they had a row with Uadreams.com which resulted in the split of the two companies.

Why not read his story and leave your comments - was it a scam or was it a misunderstanding? are the letters really been written by the ladies? if so are the contents of both parties censored? is there a whistleblower out there reading this. why not leave your comments on this contreversial subject below?

Chapter three "Provo"

As Israel votes today - least we forget

During the IOF's military operations, it directly targeted 172 houses with guided missiles and shells. However, the number of houses that have been completely destroyed in these attacks is at least 472 houses. Another 3,000 to 4,000 houses have been partially destroyed.

The IOF also destroyed 38 mosques, 13 of which were directly and wantonly targeted. Thirty-nine schools were damaged, of which five (and one university) were directly targeted. IOF attacks also destroyed 42 public civilian facilities, including CBO offices and quasi-governmental institutions. Furthermore, it destroyed 107 privately-owned workshops and small industrial and commercial plants. IOF also destroyed 90 police and security installations and 25 sites that were used for military purposes by armed groups.
«

»At approximately 2am on Sunday, 11 January 2009, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile into a crowd of residents of the al-Karama apartment complex, killing Ibrahim Ayish Salman, 25. When neighbors tried to help the victim, a second missile was fired at them, killing Ala Fathi Bashir, 40, and his 18-year-old son, Suhaib. Yet, when neighbors tried to help them, aircrafts fired a third missile, killing a 40-year-old woman, Lamias Hasan Bashir, and 75-year-old woman, Jamila Hassan Zyadeh. Four other people were injured in this attack. At approximately 3:35am on Sunday, Israeli troops fired an artillery shell at the al-Karama area. The shell hit the house of Mohammed Khalaf and killed his cousins, Ibrahim Mohammed Khalaf, 35, and Bilal Yihia Khalaf. Twenty-five minutes later, an Israeli aircraft raided the house of Tawfiq Saqir, which is located near the Beit Lahia market. The house was destroyed completely and five neighboring houses were damaged.«

»At approximately 9:30 am on Sunday, 11 January 2009, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile into a crowd of children who were near the Olo al-Azm Mosque in the north of Beit Lahia, killing the four of them, three girls and a boy. They were identified as:

  • Haitham Yasser Marouf, 12;
  • Fatima Mohammed Marouf, 16;

Today the Jews are still seeking out the Nazi´s in every corner of the world to bring them to justice for their war crimes committed during the second world war.

Of the 1.500.000 Palestinians, residents of Gaza., how many will be seeking out the murders of their children, wives or husbands in the years to come? Hopefully to bring the culprits of these atrocious war crimes to justice rather than take the law into their own hands, althought religion does say "an eye for an eye"

Keep your home

Everyone agrees that the housing market needs to stabilize before things can get better.

People are usually made reduntant because governments have not managed the respective exconomies like a prudent housewife would, not because of their work attitude.

Yesterday the Spanish Government extended their partial postponement of mortgages to three years from two for the unemployed and for people who are having difficulty meeting mortgage commitments, the economy ministry said in.

The measure will allow those worst hit by the Spanish economic downturn to postpone part of their mortgage payments for three years.

The government also announced it will extend and make more flexible the loans offered to small and medium sized businesses by state-owned credit agency ICO

By banks repossing houses it brings more properties onto the property market thus bringing house price down placing more families with negative equity, and more risk to the banking system.

The Spanish governments example will mean that the property market will establish a floor sooner and hopefully start to increase in value sooner. It is better for families to pay a mortgage for a few more years than loose their home and all the trauma that goes with it in finding a place to rent and moving all their furniture and belongings.

I don´t know if the English Prime Minister George Brown or the American President Barack Obama have a similar plan? If not I think that it would be worth considering as it is America that led the world into this crisis with their housing problem. Had they had such a scheme in place a few years ago maybe the world may never have got into this mess!

U.S. hedge fund reaps big RBS profit whilst British pensioners in Europe are below the poverty line

It is said that 350,000 British pensioners live in Spain. One has seen his state pension drop from 410 euros (for 4 weeks) over the last twenty months to 290 euros ($406). It should be noted that he is not on the full state pension for having been invalided out of the army after service in Korea he was told that he did not have to make contributions, something that the Department for Work and Pensions changed their mind on after several years which resulted in a short fall in his contributions. A similarly aged pension (a former RAF intelligence officer) who wrote to this department about his difficulty received an insulting letter from a Civil servant stating "there is no legal requirement to help pensioners. The Governments priority is to help pensioners living in this country (England) and it will continue to help them so they are able to have a decent income." (reported in The Olive Press). It is estimated that at least 5% of pensioners will have to return to England putting a burden on that country, but I personally believe that it will be much higher.

Perhaps there should be a common European Union pension where all pensioners receive the same basic pension. English pensioners that were not claiming the heating allowance before they retired do not get it whilst pensioners that moved to Spain or another European country do not. What happened to equality?

Who is to blame? The people that speculate in currencies and secondly the English Government/Bank of England for the possible mismanagement of the sterling weakness. Should the Governer of England King not have reduced interest rates at the same time as the Fed in the USA?

George Soros is still speculating in sterling saying today that he had stopped betting on sterling at $1.40 and can be blamed for sterlings weakness. Jim Rogers makes alarmist remarks about the UK (possibly to line his own pockets) and U.S. hedge fund Paulson & Co's profit (short selling), which could have topped 270 million pounds if it sold all its RBS (RBS.L) position, Other short sellers of UK bank stocks could have been in part to blame for the collapse in their share prices and the resulting talk of nationalisation which further weakened sterling. Of course Sir Frank Goodwin (or will it be Frank Goodwin) comes into the equation for his running of RBS allowing Paulson & Co's to short the banks shares!

We did write to Bloomberg suggesting that the word Nationalisation should not be used by them for at least a month and I have only heard it mentioned once (not forcefully) and it does not appear to have been on the ticker tape. The share price of UK banks appeared to have recovered by over 100%

Should Sir Fred Goodwin be stripped of his knighthood?

We have mentioned this about a week ago and now there is an article By Tony Bonsignore | 14:10:32 | 27 January 2009 HERE. where you can leave your views or on this blog

I think that the consensus of opinion in the comments is that Sir Frank Goodwin should be stripped of his knighthood for diservice to the banking industry, but the it might be difficult for shareholders to reclaim his bonuses, but should there nof be a class action as in my opinion the shareholder that took up the entitlement in the first right issue for 12 bn pounds were mislead about the finances of Royal Bank of Scotland

The Prime Minister of England George Brown is ANGRY with him as are the shareholders and the employees of the bank.

5 Ways to Ponzi proof your portfolio and sleep well at night.

I've been in the financial arena for over 30 years. I must say I that I am appalled to see scum like Bernie Madoff stealing money from honest people. My message left on Bloomberg. Let us see if they publish

Summary: the use of the word NATIONALISATION by the media

LOG: 1/22/09 06:24:45 Your Initial Feedback

With respect I believe that Bloomberg and other channels are using this word too much and contribute to the fall in financial shares in both the USA and UK. I think that you should try not using this word for at least one month.

Stock markets usually anticipate facts by 6 months. I believe that if we could have healthy stock markets then the economy could improve. This requires both retail and professional investors.

I would also suggest that both capital gains taxes and with holding taxes on dividends be removes to encourage investment. This would encourage investment in quoted companies and compensate the investors (including pensioners) who are getting little or no interest on their savings in banks due to the current low interest climate.

We do not hear on the media the word Nationalisation used with respect to the French Banks - just no bonuses
which is the way it should be. Please restrain your reports for at least one month the use of the word NATIONALISATION

The BBC investigate the shooting of 2 Palestinian children

Yesterday I watched this investigation by the BBC where it was alledged that an Israel soldier in cold blood killed 2 children in Gaza and badly wounded the third one of the family. The BBC had kindly re-united the wounded child with her father. There were witnesses to the alledged murder.

Ron Paul

Israel's critics and enemies will see the United States as the side to be blamed for the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip, believes Congressman Ron Paul. He says the US should review its unconditional support of the Jewish state.

America get rid of your representative to the UN Security Council and employ an impartial peace loving person. As the President Elect said "IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE"
