The BBC's Russia Editor, Steve Rosenberg, has challenged Vladimir Putin on whether he has "taken care" of Russia during his 25-year rule.

September 28, 2022: Seven months after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Oleksiy Goncharenko spoke at a side event hosted by the U.S. Helsinki Commission at the OSCE Warsaw Human Dimension Conference.
Goncharenko discussed Russia’s pattern since 2000 of waging wars of imperial aggression against its neighbors, colonizing those neighbors, and then using conquered populations to wage further wars of conquest.
Oleksiy Goncharenko is a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the president of PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees, and Displaced Persons.
