In an exclusive interview with BTV, BOK Governor Rhee Chang-yong said he expected the impact from the turmoil to be short-lived, and said it wasn't likely to force rate cuts. In Europe, the French government faces a no-confidence vote late afternoon Wednesday. Far-right leader Marine Le Pen and her National Rally party plan to support the movement, which could pass with the backing of a left-wing coalition. President Macron urged French to reject the motion that could topple the government and cause political turmoil.
