America’s dreams finally came true last week, with news that auto giant General Motors, and race operation TWG Global, had agreed in principle with Formula 1 for Cadillac to become an 11th team from 2026. The announcement did not blindside the sport, though, with rumours that the green light had been given in Las Vegas.
