26 YEARS OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST FORMULA FORD EVENT It's time to get the racing underway. Join us here at Silverstone for the Walter Hayes Trophy 2026. Since 2001 the Walter Hayes Trophy has provided some of the the very best racing seen here at the ‘Home of British Motor Racing’ on an annual basis. Formula Ford drivers from around the world descend on Silverstone every November to compete in the Walter Hayes Trophy, an event that provides a thrilling end to the Silverstone season.
With fierce competition and all cars powered by the 1600cc Ford Kent engine, previous drivers include Gordon Shedden, Jamie Chadwick, Neil Cunningham, David Leslie, Bas Leinders and Alice Powell.
