Delegates from the umbrella group representing seven Syrian opposition parties were in Moscow to try to convince the Russian government to urge Assad to quit.
"We told our Russian colleagues that to make the start of talks possible, we believe it is necessary for Russia and the international community to send an important signal and demand Bashar Assad's resignation," said Burhan Ghalioun, the chairman of the Syrian National Council.

دعت المعارضة السورية والمجلس الوطني يوم الثلاثاء على روسيا لسحب دعمها للرئيس بشار الأسد.
ومندوبين من مجموعة تضم سبعة احزاب تمثل المعارضة السورية في موسكو في محاولة لاقناع الحكومة الروسية أن يحث الاسد على الإقلاع عن التدخين.
"قلنا زملائنا الروس بأن لجعل بدء المحادثات ممكن ، ونحن نعتقد أنه من الضروري بالنسبة لروسيا والمجتمع الدولي لإرسال إشارة مهمة واستقالة الطلب السوري بشار الاسد" ، وقال برهان غليون، رئيس المجلس الوطني السوري.
