http://www.euronews.net/ German police have arrested a man suspected of acting as a propagandist for a group of neo-Nazis that killed nine immgrants and a policewoman. The 32-year old was seized in a house in a village near Berlin.

He is accused of making a video that glorified the murders and mocked the victims. The film was found on a memory stick in a house that had been used by gang members. The killings have shocked the nation and caused intense debate, with some politicians accusing authorities of trying to gloss over the extent of neo-Nazism in the country.

http://www.euronews.net/ The deepest point on the surface of Earth is the Dead Sea in Israel. Now a joint Israeli-German team of scientists has found several freshwater spring systems on the floor of the Dead Sea.

Their presence has been suspected for decades as concentric ripples on the surface of the water are visible near the shore, but it is only now been confirmed by divers.

30 metres under the surface, equipped with underwater cameras, the divers collected water samples from cracks in the sea floor and discovered cunknown micro-organisms.

http://www.euronews.net/ Two female journalists have been describing how they were sexually abused while attempting to cover the protests in Cairo's Tahrir Square.

French TV reporter Caroline Sinz told how she and her cameraman were set upon by a mob:"We were hit, and then separated. Very few women, especially foreign, are in Tahrir Square. I was grabbed by several men and I suffered a sexual assault in front of everyone in full daylight. Other women journalists were physically attacked. It is a way to intimidate the press."

وقال مراسل التلفزيون الفرنسية كارولين Sinz كيف تم تعيين انها ومصورها عليها من قبل الغوغاء : "ضربت ونحن ، وفصلها ثم قلة قليلة من النساء، وخصوصا الأجنبية، في ميدان التحرير وأمسكت عن طريق العديد من الرجال وعانيت جنسية. اعتداء امام الجميع في وضح النهار، وتم الاعتداء على الصحفيات أخرى، وهي وسيلة لترهيب الصحافة ".

http://www.euronews.net/ This year's Sakharov Prize for freedom of thought has gone to five activists from North Africa and the Middle East for their role in the Arab Spring.

Asmaa Mahfouz from Egypt, Ahmed al-Zubair Ahmed al-Sanusi from Libya and Razan Zaitouneh and Ali Farzat from Syria were all honoured. Tunisian Mohamed Bouazizi received a posthumous award.

Algeria's Salima Ghezali, a Sakharov winner in 1997, told euronews the region's fight for freedom was nothing new.

http://www.euronews.net/ The announcement that Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is to step down has failed to quell unrest in the country. At least five people have been killed in clashes between supporters and opponents of the outgoing leader.

The victims were said to have been shot by Saleh's followers. A number of others were injured in the violence in the capital, Sanaa. Elsewhere the army is reported to have killed 17 Islamists in the south.

Our correspondent Valerie Gauriat spoke with local people get their views on the latest wave of unrest.

One elderly man dismissed the protesters as "unemployed youngsters with nothing better to do."

"They are thugs," he said. "Tomorrow, we won't have enough money to buy bread."

"These people aren't Egyptians. Someone paid them to do this," claimed one woman. "Some of them are good I'm sure, but most are Salafists and left-wingers."
