They live together in the univeristy hostel and get up to all kinds of crazy things together -- whether it's bunking off class, fighting with a rival group or chatting over endless cups of tea.
Being away from home, they also experience romance. But the course of true love never did run smooth. Sher Singh is a typical village boy with a poor command of English. He falls for a girl who was brought up in Canada, where English was her first language.
Guri is besotted by the brightest girl in class, even though he's been failing in the same subject for the last two years. And shy Hindu boy Deep falls in love with a girl who belongs to a family of hardcore desi Jatts.
