Google Maps is the world’s top navigation app, and in February it will turn 20 years old. It’s aiming to stay ahead using new generative AI features, and a nimbler Street View camera that will help it map at least three new countries.

Google Maps is available in more than 250 countries. CNBC got an exclusive look at the Street View service center and asked the head of Maps about data, privacy, traffic and AI.

Se registraron hasta 170 mm de lluvia en menos de 12 horas, convirtiendo calles en ríos y dejando autos flotando. Las autoridades han declarado estado de emergencia y piden a la población mantenerse en sus casas. Turistas que planeen viajar a la región deben estar atentos a los avisos oficiales, ya que varias carreteras y puntos turísticos están colapsados. Además, refugios temporales han sido habilitados para las familias afectadas.
