Palestine - Their flag raised over UNESCO headquarters for the first time.

Published on Dec 13, 2011 by
http://www.euronews.net/ In an historic, symbolic and controversial act the Palestinian flag has been raised over a UN building for the first time.

UNESCO, the world body's Paris-based culture, education and science agency, angered Israel and the US when it effectively recognised 'Palestine' as a state, by allowing it to become a member.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas spoke at the flag-raising ceremony. He told the audience it was an historic moment which, he said, augured well for the future entry of the Palestinian state to other international organisations.

  .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) People are taking you a lot more seriously. In the past, critics accused you of being overly idealistic. That's because you were willing to give people who are down on their luck a chance. Now there's a profound staffing problem, the authorities see the wisdom of your ways. Take this opportunity to organise a complicated work schedule. Take care to pair people who work well together. You don't want to start things off on the wrong foot.

Someone who grew up in a very different culture has some valuable advice to impart. It's probably time to downsize. Let go of some possessions that have been weighing you down.
  .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) A group effort finally gets underway. It's taken a long time for you to establish ground rules and agree on a meeting place, but now that you have, you'll see immediate progress. You would never be able to make inroads to a cultural or religious organisation without the help of your colleagues. For one thing, you lack the contacts. For another, you don't have the training. Once a relationship has been established you can assert your authority.
  .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) You're finally able to make headway with an authority figure. For the past few weeks, the person in charge has been evading your questions. Now you'll get some definitive answers. If you've been in salary negotiations, push your agenda, even past the point of being comfortable. It's difficult for a shy person like you to be aggressive, but sometimes you have to press your point. This is one of those situations. You'll never get what you deserve if you don't promote your interests.
