From the producers of SHAUN OF THE DEAD and SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD comes ATTACK THE BLOCK, a fast funny, frightening action adventure movie that pits a teen gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters. It turns a London housing estate into a sci-fi playground. A tower block into a fortress under siege. And teenage street kids into heroes. It's inner city versus outer space.

"Amreeka" trailer - in UK Cinemas Friday 13th May 2011 - Starring: Nisreen Faour, Melkar Muallem, Alia Shawkat, Hiam Abbass, Yussuf Abu-Warda.
Coming September 4th (USA) to theatres is Amreeka, a movie that proves that the American spirit doesn't come with citizenship papers--it comes from the hearts of the people who live there.
A family of immigrants, along with a couple of first-generation American teenagers, finds themselves inexorably caught between their heritage and their new home. Can they unite to make themselves a whole American family, or will the various influences on their lives pull them apart? Check out the trailer.
It's already won the Critic's Prize at Cannes, so it looks like Amreeka's going to add yet another title in the hunt for little golden statues. Does it have a chance? Hit the comments section below and tell us what you think. Thanks for watching!

During the Soviet era, the people of Semipalatinsk in Kazakhstan were used as human guinea pigs in the testing of nuclear weapons. Today they live with the consequences. Whilst sheep graze in radioactive bomb craters, many in the population believe that the testing is the reason why one in twenty children are born with birth defects. Dr Toleukhan Nurmagambetov, the boss of the city's maternity clinic, wants to introduce a genetic passport which will prevent those with suspect genes from giving birth.
Bibigul -- a local woman from the test-site -- is pregnant and her "defected and frightful" face arouses the suspicion of local medical staff. Nurmagambetov labels her a genetic failure. He implores Bibigul to get tested and abort the child who he fears will be born disabled, but Bibigul refuses to give up her dream of becoming a mother.

My sympathy to people in Japan who have experienced this horrible event.
My deepest condolence to those who have lost loved ones. It was very terrible and shocking to see Japan on live tv. After a couple days a thought the worst was over but it didn’t. Nuclear problem started and thought this is not normal anymore it is to much at one’s. Then after you get shocking of earthquake. ( It was like a nightmare ).
I lived and still live with Japanese Inhabitants.
One of my friend life in Japan a thought what will be his situation. And got many questions he was present in my head. A watched the news Until Midnight everyday, mailed him but no response and they more my concern about him. It was long time and decide not to overload him with mails. But a couple day’s ago finally we got some reply back true one friend. I was happy and sad at the same time, about his lost.
I wish all Japan 平和、繁栄、幸福と健康
Al kind regards....
