Russell Grant's Weekly Horoscopes w/b Saturday 8 January 2011

.
ARIES - March 21st - April 20th
Having a strong support network will help you make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead. If you can't make your mind up which way to go, don't hesitate to confide in a friend. As well as helping you see choices more objectively, they can also know how to ease your worries. In your efforts to improve your long term prospects there will be a need to curtail your social programme for a wee while. You might miss out on having some fun but you'll always be in touch with your friends.
.
TAURUS - April 21st - May 21st
Emotional misunderstandings could occur if you and your loved ones don't take time to listen to each other. News you are hoping for may not arrive on time and this will add to the tension. There will be ample compensation in a social night out which will end romantically if you are single. If you already have a partner, some form of joint enterprise will soon claim your attention. Conditions at home will be much more settled and straightforward.
.
GEMINI - May 22nd - June 21st
You're so full of creative ideas that as fast as one idea occurs, another one takes its place. If communications get muddled it could be you are too eager to voice your thoughts and other people can't keep up with you. Money considerations are a major influence. You may have to make decisions about a future holiday and work out how you are going to afford it. Your interest and attention will swing to your career area as the week comes to a close.
.
CANCER - June 22nd - July 23rd
A workmate or loving partner may make suggestions that sound more like criticism to you. Before you get defensive, think about how they are challenging you to look at parts of your life through new eyes. Life takes on a rosy glow when you see fresh openings you don't want to miss out on. Friends just want to offer constructive advice and support. With their encouragement you might apply for a vacancy that offers a chance for you to live up to your full potential.
.
LEO - July 24th - August 23rd
Over the days and weeks ahead, new job opportunities could help broaden your outlook and widen your horizons. You can advance your career prospects by working hard and making an extra effort to fulfil promises made. Someone is trying to get information out of you that should be kept a secret. Watch what you say beyond casual conversation and pause before answering questions that will reveal too much about how you feel. If possible, concentrate on work that keeps you out of the public eye.
 .
VIRGO - August 24th - September 23rd
Someone close will appreciate all your romantic and creative ideas. A friend is disappointed when you turn down a social invitation to make your family life a priority. If you and a partner can arrange it, you might take a solitary trip to some remote place of interest to pass a happy and romantic few days together. Spare time activities connected with the younger generation are also likely to play a key role in your life.
.
LIBRA - September 24th - October 23rd
Family projects are progressing extremely well; the togetherness theme could also apply to a community exercise which gets off the ground this week. A close friendship isn't going so great. You might notice a degree of jealousy amounting to hostility and this will mar the pleasure you are experiencing. A friend wants you all to themselves; you can't possibly oblige. The good news is: such negative influences will be of no great consequence.
.
SCORPIO - October 24th - November 22nd
A new incentive will present itself and you are ready to make some changes. A period of hard work and mental effort will follow; you are prepared to do all you have to do to achieve your aim. There's some invisible tension in a close relationship. A loved one is not happy with decisions you are currently making. A lot is not being said that should be brought out into the open. Why not be the first to instigate a heart to heart by asking your partner what is on their mind?
.
SAGITTARIUS - November 23rd - December 21st
A new friendship is lively and animated but that's no guarantee it will last. You don't yet know each other that well, so give this relationship more time before imagining a long term future together. You're in a restless mood these days and ready to take chances. Sporting and competitive events appeal to your high spirits but don't take too many risks or you could come a cropper!
.
CAPRICORN - December 22nd - January 20th
This is the moment to push ahead if you're hoping to improve your prospects or you want to make a name for yourself. The ambitious side of your nature comes to the fore which, in your case, is likely to mean you are thinking seriously about re-organising your lifestyle. You're more daring than usual and this could lead to success provided you remain dedicated to the one aim. Rather than delaying the inevitable, get on with something you have to do.
.
AQUARIUS - January 21st - February 19th
To determine why you're feeling restless or unsettled, you may need to do some soul searching. Taking time out will help you re-connect with your inner self and redirect you towards more meaningful goals. As your thoughts keep returning to a certain relationship or other aspect of your life, this will help you make some important and far reaching decisions. Don't wait for happiness to be served on a plate, go out and find it yourself.
.
PISCES - February 20th - March 20th
This is an essentially positive and progressive week with there being harmony and cooperation between old friends and new alike. Even so, you know that new commitments will take you away from your usual social stamping ground. Your dilemma is: do you keep things as they are or do you strike out in new directions and add to your personal experiences? People want to hear your ideas but how can you explain your feelings until you're know what you want yourself?

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) You can't afford to be overly confident where a love affair is concerned. It's not enough to be attractive and charming to win somebody's heart. You have to be a good conversationalist and be courteous, too. At times, you've been accused of being too self involved. Break the spell by being more attentive to the object of your affection. Taking a back seat to your amour at a party will make a good impression. You don't need to command the spotlight to feel good about yourself.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Doing everything on behalf of your partner makes you feel tired and depleted. It's time to make a few demands of your own, even at the risk of rejection. If a friend or lover can't compromise, you have to wonder whether your relationship is really worthwhile. The chance to study with an impressive teacher will fall in your lap. Take this opportunity to change course. You'll never get another opportunity like this. Besides, you're ready for a new adventure.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Overindulging in food and drink will be cause for great regret. Your system is too delicate to handle rich desserts and intoxicating beverages. If you want to give yourself a treat, let it be something like a book, gadget, or plaything. Your inner child is crying for attention. Ignoring it will cause a terrible outburst. A loved one could get a bonus, a rise or an unexpected windfall and they will want to share their good fortune with you.
 .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Giving in to your whims is causing you to lose ground. You have big dreams, but will never achieve them if you keep straying from your path. Set aside a set time each day to study, work, or practice. If you don't, you'll start hating yourself for being so lazy. You've been blessed with considerable natural talent, but it won't serve any purpose if it continues to lie dormant. Let an accomplished friend or lover take you under their wing.
 .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) You hate being angry at loved ones, but it can't be helped. Someone who has been withholding affection makes you feel unappreciated and demeaned. It's time to demand the respect you're due. The way they express themselves may not be your style, but at least they will make you feel valued. A fitness regime will transform your body. You'll need to guard your private time like a tiger. Don't let friend tempt you away from a sensible diet.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Flattery will get you nowhere. In fact, it will make you look suspicious to a peer. Be honest in your assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. Offering constructive criticisms will forge a trusting bond that is almost impossible to break. These days, almost everyone is looking to have their ego stroked. A precious few want honest feedback. It's a relief to know your suggestions won't be taken the wrong way, as they have been so often in the past.
 .
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) A shopping spree won't fill the ache in your heart. You long for romance and adventure, but can't bring yourself to take the necessary risks. Summon your courage and make a move towards a dream you've had since childhood. Starting your own business, travelling to a foreign land, or making something of lasting value will give you great pleasure. It will also diminish your desire to spend money on worthless baubles. Luxury goods can afford fleeting pleasure, but they usually leave you feeling empty.
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You won't be able to charm your way out of a difficult domestic situation. A relative or roommate is seriously displeased with your selfish behaviour. If you're going to enjoy a more peaceful home life, you must change your ways. Be mindful of how your habits create work for the people around you. Try to be more considerate of a housemate's sleeping and eating patterns. Remember, every action has a reaction. You will find a valuable antique on a short trip out of town.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) You're being too lenient regarding a neighbour or relative. This manipulator has been repeatedly taking advantage of you. This time around, you don't have the money, time, or desire to help them. Issuing a refusal will put tremendous strain on your bond. A temporary separation is the best thing that could happen for the both of you. At long last, you'll be able to objectively evaluate what each brings to the other's life. Making the most of your household resources will save lots of money.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Friends don't agree with your religious or political beliefs. It can be really difficult to have a civil conversation when tempers are running this high. Agreeing to disagree may the only option to preserve these relationships. Even then, you're not sure if you want to stay friends with people who have such radically different values from yours. Your powerful personality helps you make inroads to a new social circle. It's time to team up with people who sympathise with your world view.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Working independently gives you confidence in your personal life. Suddenly it doesn't seem so difficult to confess your innermost secrets to a trustworthy lover. Your dreams of making money through philanthropy are closer than ever. If you're looking for a job, apply to a humanitarian organisation, hospital, or university. Your vision will bring about the changes necessary to make this institution thrive in difficult financial times. This time around, the powers that be will give you free rein.
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Just because someone doesn't share your beliefs doesn't mean your friendship is doomed. On the contrary, you'll benefit greatly from talking with somebody who has a totally different perspective on love. Your own attitude may be too possessive for a relationship to flourish so try to chill out a little. Taking charge of a fundraising effort will yield impressive results. You love throwing your heart and soul into a mission that is designed to help people less fortunate than yourself.

Muslim child grooming gang in Derby rape up to 100 girls
BritainDivided | November 24, 2010 | likes, 6 dislikes

A gang of Pakistani Muslims in Derby raped girls as young as 12 after picking them up on the streets for sex. Described by the judge as 'sexual predators' the court heard how they cruised city streets for white girls as young as 12 who were then plied with drink and drugs and raped or abused.

Up to 100 vulnerable girls may have been abused by married fathers Abid Saddique and Mohammed Liaqat, and their seven friends. A court heard the pair used Liaqat's BMW saloon to trawl for victims, pulling up alongside girls outside shops, schools or on housing estates.

Saddique, from Normanton, Derby, who claimed to be a cleaner, was convicted of four rapes, two false imprisonment charges, aiding and abetting rape, three counts of sexual activity with a child, two sexual assaults, being involved with child pornography and attempting to pervert the course of justice. An additional rape charge was ordered to lie on the file when the jury could not reach a verdict.

Unemployed Liaqat, of Sinfin, Derby, was convicted of rape, aiding and abetting rape, being involved with child pornography, two sexual assaults, four counts of sexual activity with a child, and affray.

The other defendants, Akshay Kumar, 38, Faisal Mehmood, 24, Mohamed Imran Rehman, 26, Graham Blackham, 26 and Ziafat Yasin, 31, have already been jailed after being convicted of a string of sex or drug offences.

Liaqat's brother, Naweed Liaqat, 33, Farooq Amed, 28, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice and were both jailed for 18 months.

"Safe and Sound", a charity heavily involved in the National Working Group on Exploitation project, describes a widespread "pattern of grooming across the UK" and a survey carried out by the group revealed over 4,200 abuse incidents on young girls. This is just the tip of the iceberg and doesn't reflect the full extent of grooming by Asian males of young white females in the UK. In reality the number is probably is into the tens of thousands because a great many incidents go unreported.

What this news report doesn't mention again is that the perpetrators of this sick crime were all Pakistani males, and the victims were nearly always white. The police continue to deny a cultural or ethnic element to this grooming.

Full story (be warned, it's quite graphic and sickening):

Muslim spiritual leaders
Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani was sentenced to death by stoning. Murder, adultery, rape, armed robbery, apostasy and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under Iran's Sharia law, enforced since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. What does Islam say about Abid Saddique and Mohammed Liaqat crimes now?

  • These criminals are just low life nobodies with no moral compass and no common decency. They exploit the most vulnerable and unprotected girls in society. The girls are typically in social care and have no family support. They are plied with drink and drugs and ''befriended'' by a plausable member of the gang posing as a boyfriend. He then either rapes her himself or has a member of his gang rape her then make threats to her if she refuses to allow her own sexual enslavement. They're scum.

Goldbug100 - Someone searched for "Viaspace scam" today so we did some investigating

thanks to a "buy" from Beacon Equity (with an impressive report) about 30 months ago at $0.50c. we decided to add to the fund. If you have any comments on this company or any of those listed below please comment in the comment box. We suspect that this company is a penny stock promotor paid a fee to write and distribute the report. Pink shares are prone to "pump & dump" and short selling operations. - best to steer clear unless you are aware of the risks

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Highlighted companies: ViaSpace (OTCBB: VSPC)
  • Thesis: Retired four-star general and former presidential candidate Wesley K. Clark joins the board at ViaSpace, an OTCBB stock with very questionable management and operations. Wes Clark resigns his directorship two weeks after signing on. ViaSpace appears to be involved -- to the tune of over $500,000 -- in fees with various penny stock promoters.
·  Quick comment: As is typical for OTCBB scams, many of the key players are operating from Canada to avoid the SEC's jurisdiction
