Russia - Net profit dive for Rusal of 92 percent Hit by write down in Norlisk Nickel stake

http://www.euronews.com/ Rusal, the world's top aluminium maker saw its yearly net profit dive by 92 per cent. The company was hit by a write-down in the value of its stake in Norlisk Nickel as it grapples with a boardroom row between two Russian billionaires.

The company's shares added 1.4 per cent in Hong Kong after tumbling 14 per cent last week as its former chairman and Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg said the company was in, "deep crisis".

Europe - United Parcel Service, the world's largest package delivery company has bought Dutch rivals TNT

http://www.euronews.com/ United Parcel Service, the world's largest package delivery company, has bought Dutch rivals TNT in a bid to dominate the market in Europe.

The deal is worth 5.2 billion euros and comes after UPS raised its initial offer. The Atlanta based company will pay 9.50 euros a share up from a bid last month of 9 euros.
