The day after a group of women industrial workers are assured of their companys stability, they are blindsided by managements relocation of the factory. Everythings gone, including management, and they are left with a pittance in severance pay. As they console one another, their very odd and illiterate colleague Louise (Yolande Moreau) suggests they pool their tiny resources and hire a hit man, the even odder Michel (Bouli Lanners), to take care of business. Part cinema of the absurd, part politically incorrect farce, filmmakers Benoit Delépine and Gustave de Kerverns comedy creates a bizarre social satire as the two misfits try to find the bosses and a way to do away with them. Darkly twisted, Louise-Michel hits all the right and wrong buttons in digging through to lifes perverse core. 90 min

Plot 

On the first of January 1993, two customs officers, one Belgian and the other French, learn of the future closure of their small customs post situated between Corquain in France and Koorkin in Belgium.

Both a hereditary francophobe and an over-zealous Belgian customs officer, Ruben Vandervoorde is forced to create the first franco-Belgian flying squad.

Synopsis
Francophobe de père en fils et douanier belge trop zélé, Ruben Vandervoorde apprend avec désespoir la signature de l’Acte unique en 1986. La libre circulation des marchandises et des personnes met fin aux formalités douanières.

Sept ans plus tard, en 1993, le traité de Maastricht entraîne la fermeture des bureaux de contrôle juxtaposés. Les collègues de Ruben et leurs homologues français apprennent la disparition prochaine de leur petit poste de douane fixe situé dans les communes fictives de Courquain en France et Koorkin en Belgique.

    Ce qui suit dévoile des moments clés de l’intrigue.

Malgré sa francophobie, Ruben Vandervoorde se voit contraint et forcé d'inaugurer la première brigade mobile mixte franco-belge.

Son partenaire français sera Mathias Ducatel, pourtant ennemi de toujours, qui surprend tout le monde en se portant volontaire pour devenir le co-équipier de Vandervoorde et sillonner avec lui les routes de campagne frontalières à bord d'une L d'interception des douanes internationales. Mathias espère ainsi amadouer son voisin de douane avant de lui avouer qu’il est amoureux de sa sœur et qu’ils se fréquentent clandestinement depuis un an.
