Former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko is now in a detention
centre in the east of the country, after being moved from a jail in the
capital Kiev.
In a snub to the European Union, the Ukrainian government has rehoused Tymoshenko before her case can be heard in the European Court of Human Rights.
Members of her Batkyvshchina Party are describing the complex in a suburb of Kharkiv as a 'remote prison colony'.
First Deputy Chairman of Batkyvshchina Oleksandr Turchynov said the move was sudden.
