Deadliest attack on Ukraine forces as pre-election tension rises

After days of relative calm on Ukraine's 'eastern front', the military has suffered its worst losses there, with at least 14 soldiers killed in a dawn attack on a checkpoint.

Heavily-armed militants are said to have stormed the site south of Donetsk, injuring a further 30 or so troops. Ukrainian security sources are blaming pro-Russian separatists.

Kyiv pledges extra security in east to safeguard presidential election

The Ukrainian government has promised extra security measures to make sure next Sunday's presidential election goes ahead in the east of the country.

In comments made on Saturday, Kerry said Ukrainians deserved the right to decide their own future and should not be coerced into accepting their future lay with one country - a reference to President Yanukovich's decision to renege on a cooperation deal with the EU under pressure from Russia. Movistar (prepagodo) experience

I had a phone call on my mobile phone from this number 928731943. 

I missed it (as it only rang once) so rang back on my fixed phone and got an answering machine - Missed calls are charged by Movistar so my balance is down to 1 euro. I have only made one phone call since crediting it with 10 euros - the call was about 5 minutes (the 1004 operator confirmed that I had only made one phone call of less than 2 euros). The answer phone had to same voice as Movistar´s 1004 number - begs the question is this a fraud?
