The platform X has gone through two turbulent years since Elon Musk bought what was called Twitter in 2022. Since then users and advertisers have left in droves after Musk relaxed the control of content. Musk's support for Donald Trump has provoked another exodus of users. The British newspaper the Guardian quit on Thursday. The US novellist Stephen King has joined them. He tweeted "I'm leaving Twitter, tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic. And he said to his seven million X followers: 'Follow me on Threads, if you like.'

The world's most prestigious race for GT3 machinery will take place from November 14-17 on the renowned Guia Circuit, with nearly 70 percent of the grid made up of Platinum-ranked drivers. The entry list is headlined by winners of every edition of the event since its inaugural running in 2015. It also includes a total of 10 drivers who have taken part in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year, including the newly crowned FIA Hypercar World Endurance Drivers' Champion and this year's overall winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
