Storyline

Over a quarter of a century since it began and a decade after it folded, this is the definitive film about Creation Records, one of the world's most successful and colorful independent labels. This is the story of the rock n roll dream and its accompanying nightmares. Millions of sales on both sides of the Atlantic, near bankruptcy, pills, thrills, spats, prats, success, excess, pick me ups, breakdowns and of course some of THE defining music of the late 20th Century. This is the definitive and fully authorised story of the UK's most inspired and dissolute label, from the Jesus & Mary Chain at the Living Room to oasis at Knebworth.

The movie has toured extensively to critical acclaim at a host of film Festivals worldwide including SXSW in Austin, Texas.

The network was led by a Spanish citizen and his wife, who performed numerous trips to Brazil and Romania to ensnare their victims, women who had been of necessity to find employment giving them false promises of jobs in the service sector.

After moving to Spain, the victims were locked in a warehouse in Cordoba until they were given false documents and subsequently were exploited sexually in hostess clubs in Cordoba, Seville and Malaga under threat and extreme violence, police said.

The victims were threatened to harm them or their families in their countries of origin if not return the debt, an amount of money they never had to pay due to the generation of new costs and penalties for not meeting standards organization.

Along with the thirteen arrested (nine in the province of Malaga and Cordoba four) for crimes of human trafficking related to prostitution, illegal detention and other related, police also charged with similar offenses three other people.

The detainees had created a complex web of companies without business to launder profits from the many illegally, and simulated the lack of benefit in those companies to fraudulently obtain state subsidies.

The investigation began last December following a complaint from several people who claimed to be victims of labor exploitation by a network dedicated to the exploitation of foreign women, mainly from Brazil and Romania.

After identifying the couple accused of leading the plot, the investigation obtained the identity of the other members of the network and its various functions, financial managers, club managers, porters, etc ... within the group.

Participated in the operation were officers from the Central Networks and Falsehoods Illegal Immigration Documentary (UCRIF) of UCRIF Malaga Provincial Brigade Aliens of Cordoba and the Tax Office.
