Britain's finance minister, George Osborne, has announced plans to cut the UK's corporate tax rate below 15% in an effort to attract investment after it leaves the EU. Two security guards were said to be lightly injured after the man detonated a device in the Red Sea city in the early hours of American Independence Day (July 4).

Turkey's president has hinted that Syrian refugees in the country could be offered citizenship.
