Legendary investor George Soros says 'Brexit' will unleash a crisis in financial markets similar to the global financial crisis of 2007 and 2008. he told the European Parliament in Brussels that Britain's decision to leave the European Union could lead to a disaster because the European banks never really recovered from the financial crisis. The US Senate has passed a bill to help Puerto Rico deal with crippling debt. The island owes creditors more than 70 billion dollars and is expected to miss a two billion dollar repayment on Friday.

Puerto Rico has lost around 10 percent of its population over the past decade, with many moving to Florida for better opportunities.
