Summit Therapeutics (LON:SUMM) "can alter treatment paradigm" for CDI: ProactiveInvestors Stocktube

Published on 21 Jun 2016
Summit Therapeutics (LON:SUMM NASDAQ:SMMT) Senior Director Richard Pye tells Proactive Investors that their treatment Ridinilazole can trump current treatments for Clostridium Difficile Infection (CDI). "We think this can really alter the treatment paradigm" he says.

Pye says the current treatments for CDI are actually quite good at killing the infection but they then cause more damage to the patient's microbiome - bacteria in the gut that fights infections. "We are able to both treat the initial infection and allow the patient to have their microbiome providing natural protection against developing recurrent disease" he says.

#Ukraine - Pan-Orthodox Gathering: Ukraine church awaiting decision on its autocephaly from Moscow Patriarchate: UKRAINE TODAY

Published on 21 Jun 2016
Ukraine is passionately awaiting the decision of the Pan-Orthodox Council currently being held on the Greek island of Crete.

Earlier Ukraine's Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) officially addressed His All Holiness Bartholomew I, the Archbishop of Constantinople, New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch to grant autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine that is currently subordinate to Moscow's Patriarchate.

The deputies asked to recognize the Act of 1686 according to which the Kyiv metropolitan was allegedly attached to the Moscow Patriarchate.

The unique gathering of Eastern Orthodox Christianity Churches started on June 19th after a thousand-year-break. Nearly a century ago the representatives of the confessions started negotiations of a new Pan-Orthodox gathering, full of scandals and intrigues mixed with preparations hindered by wars, Soviet cadency, and internal manipulations. The preparations for this event began in 1961 with an aim to deal with the problems within the Orthodox Christianity. The political issues are seemingly prior to religion.

WTI Crude Oil and Natural Gas Forecast June 22, 2016: DailyForex

Published on 21 Jun 2016
The WTI Crude Oil market initially fell during the day on Tuesday but found enough support just above the $40 level to turn things around and form a hammer. That of course is a positive sign, so we can break above the top of the hammer I believe that the market will continue to grind its way higher, perhaps trying to continue the longer-term uptrend. Ultimately, pullbacks will continue to be very important as they represent value in this very bullish market. I believe that given enough time we could break out, but if we end up making a “lower low” at the $46 level, that could be the beginning of a very negative move. Ultimately, the market looks like it is going to be very volatile in the short-term, so having said that it’s likely that short-term charts will probably be the best way to go.
