Elon Musk took the stage Wednesday night 1st of June at Code Conference 2016 for a chat with Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg. In a wide-ranging interview, the SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO talked about the future of artificial intelligence, his plans to finish the Tesla Model 3, and what a government on Mars should look like. He also thinks that we're all already cyborgs.

#Germany - Foiled ISIS Plot Leads To Three Syrian Arrests

Prosecutors said Thursday, three suspected ISIS members allegedly plotting a terror attack in Germany have been arrested.

Germany's federal prosecutor identified the three Syrian suspects as 27-year old Hamza C., 25-year old Mahood B. and 31 year-old Abd Arahman A.K.

In a statement the prosecutor's office said the men were working on orders from ISIS to carry out an an attack in Duesseldorf with suicide vests, explosives and rifles. They added that there was no concrete evidence they had begun to implement their plans, however.

Officials were alerted to the plot when an alleged accomplice in French custody informed authorities there of the plans.

#USA - Cracker Barrel Tops Analyst Estimates, Raises Full-Year Guidance: TheStreet

Just in time for the summer road-trip season, shares of Cracker Barrel jumped Wednesday after the company reported earnings and announced a special dividend of $3.25 a share, payable on July 29. Adjusted earnings of $1.82 a share beat analyst estimates of $1.80 a share. The company was helped in its fiscal third quarter by in increases in same store restaurant and retail sales which were up 2.3 percent and 2.2 percent respectively. The company also increased its full-year earnings guidance, which has not been something commonly heard this earnings season. Cracker Barrel now projects full-year earnings to be between $7.75 and 7.85 a share. Same store sale increases are expected in the range of 2 to 2.5 percent, coming in line with the most recent quarter's result. Cracker Barrel CEO Sandra Cochran also hinted that diners will be excited by the chain's summer menu offerings. Something to think about when planning your next weekend road-trip!
