Mitt Romney topped the polls in the New Hampshire primary but he has lost ground in what has become a bitter personal campaign in the run up to this ballot. He has said the race is now "neck and neck".

The search of the wreck of the Costa Concordia began again at dawn on
Saturday, a week after the cruise liner came to grief on the rocks off
Italy's Tuscan coast.
Work was suspended on Friday after the vessel shifted slightly on its rocky ledge.
The delay has further complicated the work of divers who have already been hampered by poor visibility, floating objects and underwater debris.

Emergency teams are battling to prevent the Costa Concordia from
causing major pollution in one of the least spoilt parts of the
Mediterranean.
There are fears that if the ship moves further down the rocks or sinks, fuel tanks may rupture causing a catastrophic oil spill.
High-tech equipment has detected movement of only a few millimetres an hour. It is not clear whether the sensors are detecting vibrations as the ship settles on the rocks, or whether the liner is being dragged off the reef.

Tensions are again mounting between Argentina and Britain over the
Falkland Islands, in the run-up to the 30th anniversary of the brief war
the two countries fought over sovereignty.
At a small demonstration outside the British Embassy in Buenos Aires, the Socialist Workers Movement denounced the British Prime Minister David Cameron, who has accused Argentina of being "much more than colonialist" in asserting its claims.

The body of British security guard Alan McMenemy has been handed over
to the UK's embassy in Baghdad, almost five years after his abduction in
Iraq.
The remains of three other British bodyguards seized by the same Shi'ite Muslim militia in the Iraqi capital were returned in 2009. The men were killed when they tried to escape, according to the cleric who heads the group.
Only a computer expert kidnapped with them at Iraq's Finance Ministry in May 2007 was released alive.

Greece - debt swap talks drag into the weekend

Greece's private creditors say a crucial deal to slash the country's
debt is coming together. But no agreement was reached on Friday and
talks with Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos will continue over
the weekend.With bankruptcy looming in March, Athens needs to secure a debt swap in which private creditors are being asked to take a loss on their bondholdings.
If the deal is completed properly, with comprehensive participation, analyst Nikos Christodoulou of Merit Securities does not believe that danger exists
