Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Wednesday 28th December 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) A close relationship with a friend, lover, or colleague gives you added strength. Usually, you're willing to tackle challenges all by yourself. Lately you've been coping with a situation that has completely overwhelmed you. The next time you get tired, dispirited, or despondent, call on your support system. Ask for help with chores or responsibilities. Rely on their expertise to navigate complicated waters. Two heads are definitely better than one now. It's time to relinquish your independent ways.
  .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Putting yourself on a schedule makes you far more productive. If your health has been suffering, make time in your day to exercise, rest, and eat well. This will require you to stop certain activities that drain your energy. Stay away from negative people who claim that your attempts at self improvement are a waste of time. You're on the verge of a tremendous breakthrough. By carefully choosing your priorities, you'll soon find success.
  .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) You've come to terms with who you are and what you need. Stop apologising for your desire to explore, investigate, and study. Some people will always be suspicious of those who have good brains. That's their problem, not yours. Go ahead and enrol in a class that sounds intriguing. Study with a teacher who uplifts and inspires you. Write a book about a subject that has always intrigued you. By putting your intellectual gifts to work now, you'll make up for lost time.
  .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) You're finally getting the support you need from friends and family. A generous loan or gift will allow you to put a deposit on a house. Alternatively, you could receive a grant or loan to college. Don't let past disappointments stop you making a fresh start. It may seem like it's too late to pursue a cherished dream, but that's rubbish. Actually, you're in a perfect position to take advantage of the opportunities currently available.
  .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) Taking ownership of your abilities is critical to your success. In the past, you were reluctant to admit you could do certain jobs, for fear of being overloaded with work. Now you realise having additional responsibilities is a privilege. Go ahead and take the helm of a class or training session. Offer to help those who need gentle encouragement. Your warm, generous approach to teaching yields impressive results. Students who had trouble with other instructors respond well to your methods.
  .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) If you put your mind to it, you can gain solid financial footing. It's all a matter of assessing what you owe and what you make. If you're in debt, set up a plan by which to regularly pay bills, so that you'll attain financial freedom by a certain date. These days, you can consolidate all of your bills so they can be dispatched in a single monthly payment at a reduced interest rate. Once you've paid everything off, put some of your earnings into a savings account.
  .
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Stop looking to others to validate your taste. You have a perfect right to like certain books, music, and movies. Some people accuse you of snobbery, but that's untrue. You simply have more sophisticated sensibilities than most. Trying to fit in with the crowd is a pointless exercise. Surround yourself with people who appreciate the same things as you. If this means taking a class or joining a club, so be it. You could meet a romantic interest through such an association.
  .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) Facing your demons will be liberating. You're tired of being held prisoner by irrational fears. A health professional who has plenty of experience in this field will be helpful. Put yourself in their capable hands. At first, it will feel as if you're not making any progress at all. Eventually you'll start to own your personal power, and it will be easy to do the things that once scared you. A relative who once tried to scare you will be dismayed by your newfound confidence.
  .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Working on a community project fills you with anticipation. You really enjoy the assignment and are meeting all sorts of interesting people in the process. Several of your friends will have a great deal of influence. You can use these contacts to get a job or membership to an exclusive society. In exchange, you'll share your love of animals, travel, and books. You've always had a knack for making connections with people based on mutual interest. You can find something in common with just about anyone.
  .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Your persistence and hard work are paying off. After a period of prolonged struggle, you'll be given a promotion or award. It's all thanks to an appreciative colleague who has been singing your praises. Many people mistake your humble attitude for simplicity, but you have tremendous executive ability. If given a chance, you can preside over big projects with relative ease. It looks like you're finally getting an opportunity to show what you can do, with a little power and authority.
  .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Travelling, studying, and writing are just the sorts of intellectually stimulating pursuits you enjoy. Lately, you haven't had time to indulge your interests. Now your schedule is opening up. Fill it with the activities you love. If you don't, you'll miss a golden opportunity to achieve expert status. People admire your original way of looking at things. It's refreshing to meet someone who doesn't parrot the same tired opinions we all hear on telly every day. When people are in your company, they feel like anything is possible.
  .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Fulfilling your financial obligations is essential to your happiness. You hate being in anyone's debt. Besides, you're so grateful for a friend or relative's help, and don't want to betray their trust. It may be necessary to make some temporary sacrifices to repay this loan. Still, the discomfort will be relatively minor. Once you're in the clear, you can start putting money into a savings account. Having a financial cushion gives you an extra measure of freedom.
