The members of Occupy Wall Street had been camped there since mid-September, and have inspired many other protests around the world.

There were unconfirmed reports that tear gas was used to move the protesters, and more than 70 arrests were made.

One woman described what she saw: "They're taking the park, they're surrounding the park in riot gear. They're taking it and they're trying to block off every street right now, they're lining up to surround us."

Greece - how much difference will Papademos make? (badly phrased by the media - negative)

Published on Nov 15, 2011 by
http://www.euronews.net/ With headlines such as "White Collar Executioner" and "Carbon Copy of the Past", the Greek press has not given the warmest of welcomes to new prime minister, Lucas Papademos.

And on the street, reactions seem equally unenthusiastic. People appear all too aware of the problems still facing the country. Despina Paidoussi, a pensioner living in Athens, is not convinced Papademos will make things considerably better for citizens:

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) It's a great time to get in shape, so go ahead and splurge on some exercise equipment or a personal trainer. You're the type who needs a lot of variety in your routine. Set aside some free time each week to prepare a series of healthy meals. That way, you can just grab one on the way out to work or before heading out for a long day away from home. Similarly, your fitness routine should involve a variety of aerobic, weight resistance, and stretching activities.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Your warmth and generosity causes quite a commotion on the romantic market. Several people will battle for your affections. If you're single, you'll be content to play the market. Ultimately you'll choose the candidate who has both a terrific brain and a great body. Are you already in a relationship? You and your amour have a golden opportunity to expand your sexual horizons. Be willing to act out your fantasies, do some role playing, and experiment with new techniques.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Trust your instincts when it comes to a household matter. Although funds are tight, you can't resist the lure of a well priced appliance or piece of furniture. For instance, you can create an inviting brochure for somebody who fixes your plumbing or electricity. Use your imagination to get what you need!
 .
