Russell Grant’s Weekly Horoscopes w.b. 6th June 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Decisions you are making in the present will affect your future in a big way. Just as choices you made in the past have brought you to the crossroads where you now stand, this is an important juncture in your life. Don’t let old worries and disappointments to colour your reasoning. You will make a better decision if you forget about what has gone before. Don’t talk yourself into buying something you don’t really need at the end of the week.

Taurus (Apr21/May21) You will strive to be sympathetic and empathetic when others come to you with their problems. That’s why you’re so patient even if it might seem you are hearing the same complaints over and over. If people actually want advice you might suggest that venting their frustrations could make the problem seem bigger. If they just put it out of their mind, they might not feel so bad and this would give your ears a rest!
 .
Gemini (May22/June21) Sharing thoughts and perceptions with someone on the same wave length is good for your soul. You have made friends with a person who has similar hopes and dreams. Comparing notes confirms you’re both on similar paths and joining forces could well make for a more fun and interesting future. A great career opportunity is coming your way and you have had your eyes and ears open for this particular chance for a while.
 .
Cancer (June22/July23) Time drags when you’re working on a job or if you’re involved in a project that does not stimulate you. It’s like a dark cloud is hovering over you and there is no outlet for your imagination or creativity. Someone will try to make light of the situation but their jokes won’t go down very well. If some aspects of your life are hollow or heavy, you need to think hard about the sense of remaining in this situation. It is up to you to make a move to attain more fulfilment.
 .
Leo (July24/Aug23) A project is moving too slow for your liking but there are others who are happy with the progress. You have other things you want to do and you are ready for a change. If you are committed to a joint venture, it seems as if you have no choice but to put up with another person’s painstaking methods. The good news is: despite the slow speed, the clock ticks on, you will all move with it and eventually this phase of your life will be over!
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sept23) Use your initiative if there are changes you can make for life to be more enjoyable. Taking a philosophical viewpoint and realising there are some things that can’t be altered and some hopes that may never be, will help foster a more positive attitude. Accepting your limitations helps you take up the opportunities that are right for you. Some serious thinking about your personal goals is required now.
 .
Libra (Sept24/Oct23) Failing to make a decision that involves a number of choices could have a lot to do with a past setback or failure. You still haven’t got over your disappointment and that’s why you are letting past and present feelings rule you. You are tempted to let a good opportunity pass you by because you can’t see what is best for you in the future. There’s no guarantee things will work out the same again if you give a project or relationship another go. Your next attempt could be far better!
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You can see the grey in areas where another can only see black and white. Working alongside someone who is arrogant or small minded will have its frustrations! You might be more experienced or less judgemental than them. Only those who lack sensitivity and understanding can be at ease with having a black and white outlook on life. The fact that you can see the flaw in their attitude will help others who haven’t the courage, to stand up to them.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) A relationship that has had many ups and downs seems to be settling into a comfortable routine. So far this joint road has been a long one full of bumps, hills, walls and bridges. Now you’ve successfully managed to overcome difficulties together, the best is yet to come. A close friendship or love affair is set for a steady course. Social demands will be at their strongest during the last few days of the week.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Taking on a leadership role can be daunting. New responsibilities will put you in a position where you are expected to guide and help others. Should someone need direction, it will be up to you to know how much advice to give and what choices and decisions should be left to them. You know what might be right for those you are mentoring but the final choice and decision should be left to them. Working alone will lead to some creative accomplishments.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) You might wish you could be split in two there is so much you have to do. Deciding which way to go and who and what gets the priority isn’t easy because ultimately, someone is going to be left disappointed. You understand that you can’t please all the people all the time so what you should do is think about what’s best for yourself. Work out your priorities as early in the week as possible and once you’ve made your mind up, don’t change it!
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) If you constantly make the same mistakes, past experience has taught you nothing. You might try to laugh it off as being unlucky or think that some relationships are doomed to failure but that isn’t taking responsibility for your actions. Expecting the worst is no way to attract positive experiences or gain success. Don’t let a lack of confidence hold you back from what could make your life so much better. Go with new opportunities, be positive and remain hopeful.

Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Sunday 5th June 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) This is a great time to spend money on your home. You'll find some beautiful furnishings and artwork at a local store. There's a good chance you'll choose things that evoke your childhood. You'd never want to admit it, but you're quite sentimental. Beware of being too generous with a family member who is always down on their luck. They probably have little or no idea how to handle money. Giving them your hard earned cash will be like throwing it out the window.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Nobody can deny you're incredibly attractive. A neighbour or local storeowner will make a pass at you, which is both embarrassing and gratifying. It's nice to know you've got plenty of sex appeal, but you're not sure if you want this kind of attention from the person in question. Prepare to let them down gently. In the meantime, your home may need some electrical repairs. Once you upgrade the system, you'll wonder why you waited so long.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) You're sick and tired of devoting all of your time to practical matters. Go ahead and abandon yourself to daydreams. One of your fantasies will be so powerful that you'll be inspired to put it on paper. Don't worry if the first draft isn't impressive. You can hone and polish it in the days to come. The important thing is to put everything down now, while it's fresh in your mind. Helping a charitable organisation with its website or blog will expand your social circle.
 .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Waiting for some far off day to arrive is preventing you from enjoying the present. Adjust your focus and try savouring the blessings you currently enjoy. Making a daily list of three things for which you are grateful will be therapeutic. An influential friend has a job offer for you. Go ahead and accept, even if it's not exactly what you want. One assignment will lead to another and soon you'll be glad you seized the opportunity. Set aside some time for romance.
 .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) All eyes will be on you at a party, so be sure to wear something special. If someone catches your fancy, lure them into a quiet corner where you can talk more freely. The two of you have a great deal in common and both love causing a commotion wherever you go. Steer clear of controversial subjects like religion or politics until you know each other better. One of the best ways to pique someone's romantic interest is to create an air of mystery.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Your expertise is in great demand, so if you've ever wanted to publish a book, now is the time to send out proposals. Make a list of ten magazines and websites you enjoy and then pitch three article ideas to each one. They don't all have to be unique concepts; you can propose the same story to different publishers. The important thing is to find a way to share your knowledge with the general public. Launching a blog will be another good way to find an audience.

Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Money from an inheritance, dividend, or legal settlement will help you take a new career path. Once you have some savings set aside, you'll be able to switch industries. There's no shame at starting at the bottom of your desired field. Someone with your intelligence and passion will quickly advance. Besides, you'll have more fun doing menial tasks in a job you love than holding an exalted office at a company you despise. Take that leap of faith; you won't be sorry.
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) A business or romantic partner is urging you to expand your horizons. Furthering your education, taking an overseas trip, or trying a new creative medium will be stimulating. Don't overdo it with food or drink, or you'll be forced to lie in bed when you could be having fun. A prominent public figure will give you an exciting job assignment. Although you don't relish working on the weekend, you have to admit you love its unorthodox nature. One thing's for sure: you won't be bored!
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) At long last, you have an opportunity to pamper yourself. Don't waste this precious time running boring errands or whipping your household into shape. Instead, luxuriate in a hot bath, savour some comfort food and take a long nap. When you treat yourself well, others will follow suit. A lover or youngster will throw a temper tantrum when they don't receive the lion's share of your attention. Don't take the bait. You need to put your own needs first, or they'll never be met.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) A lover will give you a beautiful token of their esteem. It's nice to know all of your hard work and devotion is appreciated. If you've been thinking about starting a family, now is the time to try for one. An authority figure won't be happy with your request for more free time, but you've still got to press the point. Lately, you've been spending every spare moment at work. If this trend continues, a wonderful relationship will fall by the wayside.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Invite friends, family and neighbours to your house for a good time. You don't have to go to elaborate lengths to entertain everyone. In fact, the more casual the setting, the more fun you will have. Someone will ask for your honest opinion of their work. You need to be tactful. If you are blunt, you'll throw a spanner into your relationship. Your best friend, lover, or business partner will propose an exciting trip. Pack your bags!
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) You're in a terrific mood right now, thanks to an uplifting book or movie. Don't be surprised if you're inspired to write a story of your own, one that is rooted in a childhood memory. Beware of spending too much money on luxuries. You don't have to go broke pampering yourself. An unusual job offer is coming your way. This will be a wonderful opportunity to make money from your creative talent. It may be necessary to improve your technical skills.

Lydia Mendoza "Me Piden Mundo" music video

Uploaded by on Dec 28, 2010

Cantante, conocida como -La Alondra de la Frontera-, nacida en Texas pero orgullosamente Mexicana hasta las cachas y pilar fundamental de nuestra música al norte y sur del río Bravo;
