A Photo from the past
... the farthest western suburb, may not be urban, but it's just as much Tokyo as the asphalt-suffocated business districts of Shinjuku or Shibuya wards. ..
Well this is what it was like in 1955. When I was serving in Korea we had 2 weeks R&R in Tokyo and much of it was spent in the bar below the Shinjuku railway station :) the joke was that after this we went back to Korea for our R&R!
まあこのようにして1955年のようなものだ。私が韓国では、 2週間安静と療養していた当時のまま東京で、多くは、新宿駅の下にあるバーで過ごしていた： ）は、冗談では、この私たち韓国に帰って療養するための、休憩した後に出て行くよ！私はこのバーで信子会い、彼女とすべての私の時間を過ごした。彼女はお 箸で食べる方法を教えてくれた
