#UK - Brexit family divide: BBC News
Published on 29 Jun 2016
The
Hannons are just one of many families in the UK dealing with the
fallout from the EU referendum. They are seven people divided by the
outcome they backed last week. Connor, 20, is the middle child of five
and like most of his siblings he wanted to remain. But his parents Anne
and Mike disagreed and the debate goes on.
According to YouGov data,
75% of young people aged 18-24 voted to remain, but only 39% of those
over 65 did the same. We joined the Hannons in their home in Salford to
find out why their age seems to divide them.

#Ukraine - Opera Singer Shot Dead in Donbas: Vasyl Slipak quit French opera to fight for Ukraine: UKRAINE TODAY
Published on 29 Jun 2016
Famous
Ukrainian opera singer Vasyl Slipak died in the eastern Ukraine. Local
media report Slipak was killed on June 29th in a warzone, shot by a
sniper using a full-bore rifle near the village of Luhanske at about 6
am.
He returned back in Ukraine two years ago. Having live in France for nearly two decades, Slipak became at first the voice of Ukrainian local Maidan in Paris. 2,500 km from home, he sang the national anthem of Ukraine symbolizing the unbreakable spirit of his compatriots and trying to show his homeland is suffering from invasion.
This is already a charitable concert, Slipak performing in a T-shirt with a trident and a specific Ukrainian patriot's haircut. The money he gets for singing opera artist gives to the children of the killed soldiers and finances the army.
In 2015 Vasyl Slipak told in the interview he has no moral right to remain in France, since Ukraine has to struggle with outer enemies. Before departing to the frontline he was awarded with a medal.
Vasyl Slipak was shot close to the occupied town of Debaltseve, while the Russian-backed separatist forces started advancing using the heavy weapon and mortars. The blood brothers of Vasyl' Slipak say his songs about courageous warriors have become his final prophecy

#Turkey - targeted: Islamic State Group blamed for Istanbul attack: FRANCE 24 English
Published on 29 Jun 2016
Once
again, Turkey's a target for blind terror. At least 41 killed at
Istanbul's Atatürk Airport in a carefully-staged attack blamed on Isis.
If that's confirmed, it's the fourth major bombing attributed to Islamic
State militants in the past year. Why Turkey? Why now? The attack may
be long-planned but they come the same week the government restored ties
with Israel, apologized for downing a Russian fighter jet, and is now
reaching out to Egypt and possibly Syria.

WTI Crude Oil and Natural Gas Forecast June 30, 2016: DailyForex
Published on 29 Jun 2016
The
WTI Crude Oil markets rallied during the course of the session on
Wednesday, testing the $50 level. By doing so, it looks as if the market
is going to try to break out to the upside but we didn’t close above
it. If we can break out above the most recent high, the market then will
continue to go much higher. Ultimately, at this point in time it looks
quite a bit like we are consolidating, so I feel that we very well could
pull back towards the 50 day exponential moving average, which is shown
as red on this chart. The market does look as if there is quite a bit
of bullish pressure underneath though, so ultimately we very well could
breakout. With this, I think that the short-term pullback could very
well end up being more of a buying opportunity than anything else.

Facebook puts friends first in your feed thanks to transparent News Feed Values adoption: Digital Trends
Published on 29 Jun 2016
If
you’ve ever wondered how Facebook decides what goes into your feed,
well, now you can find out. In a rather surprising move of transparency,
Facebook is publishing a paper explaining its News Feed Values. The
long and the short of it is that Facebook puts friends and family first,
it doesn’t squash diverse ideas, and Spam is on its way out, while user
controls that better manage what you see are in.
As of today, that friends-first attitude is being implemented formally with an algorithm change which will put your friends posts up top, well before you might see any sponsored content, or even posts from news outlets and listicles from other social media sites. It’s a big shift for Facebook, which seems to believe that if you like using Facebook more, then you’ll use it more often, and that’s a boon to ad sales, no matter where those ads end up appearing in your feed.

the previous session. That’s a fairly bullish sign and the fact that we
cleared the $48 level also show signs of strength. The 50 day

offered bullish pressure. At this point in time, I think it will be
fairly choppy but it looks as if the buyers are starting to step in and
assert their will again. A move below the $46 level would be very
negative.

U.S. Job Growth Helping Lift ADP Shares: TheStreet
Published on 28 Jun 2016
Shares
of ADP are up 2.5% thus far in 2016, far better than the 1% drop in the
S&P 500. The payroll provider has outperformed the index over the
last two, five and ten year periods as well. Jan Siegmund, CFO of ADP,
said the job expansion of the past few years provides a nice tailwind,
but is not the sole basis for the company's success. 'Our clients are
growing and that helps us in our revenue growth,' said Siegmund. 'Not
much as one would think as only 1% of our 9% organic revenue growth is
driven by the growth of our clients, but our clients have enjoyed job
growth of 2% to 3% in the last few years.' ADP pays more than 24 million
people in the U.S., or 1 in 6 workers. ADP has distributed the ADP
National Employment Report (NER) free for the last decade. As opposed to
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) employment reports, ADP said
its accuracy centers on the fact that its report is based on actual
payroll data, not survey data. The BLS counts employees 'when they are
paid' while ADP counts employees 'listed as active on an employer's
payroll.' 'In some months we are spot-on and in other months we differ
slightly, but overall the difference is nominal and shows the NER is an
accurate,' said Siegmund. During the last 10 years, ADP has reported
that the share of manufacturing jobs has declined from 12% to 10%.
Regionally, job growth has shifted away from the Northeast and Midwest
to the South and West, according to ADP. Furthermore, small companies
with fewer than 50 employees that survived the recession have fared
better in the labor market than companies employing 500 people or more.
Siegmund said it has taken 10 years for the labor market to attain full
employment again. Over the last five years, average monthly job growth
has been just about 200,000. Also, ADP said there is evidence that wage
growth is picking up as the economy gets close to full employment. The
tech and information sector has thriving workforces, but overall
employment growth within the sector was flat last quarter. As a result,
these workers were able to exploit this and managers were forced to
compete for a limited number of workers.
