Love From Beyond...

A reading heals grief
Source: California Psychics

Sometimes a psychic's experience during a reading can be as fascinating and mesmerizing as the client's. There can be profound learning experiences about life and the afterlife, and the everlasting nature of love, explains Darcy ext. 9488, a Channel Medium. She confides that even after giving readings for 30 years, it still surprises her when the unexpected occurs during a call.

Early one afternoon, the psychic relates, she recognized the smooth, low, friendly voice of a caller who gave his name as Julian (not his real name). He had consulted with her once before regarding his career. A working actor in New York with psychic abilities and the gift of prophetic dreams, Julian wondered, "With jobs harder to come by, several friends have asked if I would do paid in-depth readings for them, but I just don't know. There are so many reasons not to do it - and reasons to do it. I don't really need the money, and I don't want people to begin thinking of me as an intuitive, rather than an actor."

"This call was interesting from the start," Darcy reported as she described the energy she received from Julian. "I got a very perky feeling as we spoke about his career - and yet he was actually quite solemn."

As Darcy focused on the actor, she understood that he had suffered much personal loss. Working as an Empath would affect him emotionally - and not in a good way. It would be too hard on him to take on the work, which involves feeling what others feel, she suggested.

"I think you're right," he responded thoughtfully. "I didn't know exactly what I was feeling, but I think you went right to the heart of my concerns, Darcy. I'm not in a good place right now. I just lost a close friend, an actor who died too young, and who suffered significantly. You may have read about her in the papers. And I've had this dream I want to discuss with you - in my dream, my cousin - who also died, a year ago - was taking a picture of me and the friend who just passed away."

Darcy heard a voice in her head filled with laughter, and got a picture of a beautiful high-rise office, which she described to Julian, as well as the sensation of feeling very beautiful and being surrounded by expensive fabrics. "I told Julian that I felt a very different presence - lighthearted, bubbling happiness. I felt it was the one who had guided me to his first message."

"You're getting someone from the other side?"

"Yes. He's telling me that you need to be in a relationship - and something about your clothes…"

"Hmmm… Reed? He was an immaculate dresser," Julian confirmed.

"Did you grow up together? He's showing me a picture of you as a boy on a skateboard - with your cap on backward. He says you were always the jock."

Julian laughed, "Not quite the jock, but I was definitely into sports. He was always into clothes."

"You were very, very close. He says he always had to keep an eye on you," Darcy related.

"Well he thought that, because he's six months older than I am. Our moms both worked, so my grandmother watched us. We were like brothers, until…" Julian paused.

"He says he's still keeping an eye on you."

"Okay, so now, I have tears in my eyes. I miss him every day."

"He's opening up your closet doors, he has sweats thrown over his shoulder, he wants to get rid of them."

Julian relaxed a bit, enjoying the familiarity of the exchange. "He never liked the way I dressed. I suppose he's telling you that's why I don't have a relationship."

"He says you look for dates in all the wrong places."

"Where should I look?"

"The golf course," Darcy conveyed.

Just then the one-minute beep warned Julian and Darcy that the reading was about to end, and Julian repeated, "Tell him I love him, I miss him, I wish… " and then there was silence.

Darcy was still thinking about what had just occurred as she got up to get a fresh cup of coffee. Reed was tagging along behind her, she realized, letting her know that he was still concerned about Julian, when her CaliforniaPsychics.com line rang. It was Julian again.

"Oh good, Reed is still here, worrying about you. You need a relationship..."

"Ah. I'm just not into it," he said sounding somewhat futile. "Everyone leaves you…"

Darcy got a picture of Reed in a hospital bed, all skin and bones, hooked up to machines - with Julian right there with him.

"So is this how you remember me? What about all of those years of good times…" Reed ranted to his cousin. "You promised me you'd live out my life out for me. You're going to live to be 93!"

And then the one-minute beep went off again… this time, Julian was silent as the time ran out.

When Darcy's line rang next, she knew it would be Julian again.

"Okay so tell Reed I'm remembering the living to be 93 stuff - but I'm not sure about changing my wardrobe. I will keep my eyes open for someone at the golf course." In the minutes that were left, Julian spoke of his appreciation for his cousin's watchful eye.

"And before this call ends, Darcy, thanks a million. I can't tell you how much better I feel."

And Darcy, ecstatic from what had just occurred in a little over an hour's time, thought as their third and final call came to a close, "And thank you for the opportunity to share a glimpse into your amazing bond of love."
