#Spain #4KTravelDocumentary #MegaProjects - SPAIN: Quietly Building the Future While Most of the World Hasn’t Noticed | 4K Documentary

17 July 2026

  • SPAIN: Quietly Building the Future While Most of the World Hasn’t Noticed | 4K Documentary
  • Spain is often seen through its beaches, historic cities, and timeless culture. But behind that familiar image lies a different story: a country quietly reshaping its future through massive infrastructure, advanced engineering, clean energy, water systems, and scientific ambition.

In this 4K travel documentary, we explore how Spain moves global trade through powerful seaports, reclaims urban space by sending traffic underground, connects millions of people through hidden transport networks, carries water across dry landscapes, stores sunlight to generate electricity after dark, and looks beyond Earth through one of the world’s most advanced observatories.

These projects are more than concrete, steel, tunnels, bridges, mirrors, and machines. Together, they reveal how Spain is preparing for the challenges of the future: climate, mobility, energy, trade, and the way modern cities can live with both technology and nature. This is Spain from a perspective most travelers never see.

#cyclospora #parasite - Why The U.S. Is Struggling To Control Food Safety: CNBC

9 August 2026

Tens of thousands of people across 47 states are reporting illness linked to the cyclospora outbreak that started in mid-May.

While pressure is mounting at the FDA to resolve the outbreak, experts tell CNBC issues in the U.S. food safety arena have been mounting for years. CNBC's Brandon Gomez explores the challenges facing both the private and public sector when it comes to controlling outbreaks of this magnitude.

Cyclospora cayetanensis is an apicomplexan protist that causes cyclosporiasis in humans and possibly other primates. It is a cyst-forming coccidian that causes self-limiting diarrhea.

The health risks associated with the disease are generally limited to travelers visiting endemic regions and acquiring the infection; this is why C. cayetanensis has been labeled as one of the causes of "traveler's diarrhea." Morphologically, the oocysts are spherical, with a diameter of 7.5–10 μm and a thick wall, 50 nm thick, that protects them from the external environment.
