En el campo se plantan a mano, uno a uno. Pero la tierra se prepara cuidadosamente con maquinaria de precisión que facilita el manejo del cultivo. Tres tractores se encargan al unísono del laboreo. El primero ara la tierra para que suba la humedad. El segundo y el tercero, guiados con GPS, podrían avanzar casi sin conductor. Preparan los surcos perfectamente rectos y los huecos para colocar posteriormente la planta.

Weapons shipped into Jordan by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Saudi Arabia intended for Syrian rebels have been systematically stolen by Jordanian intelligence operatives and sold to arms merchants on the black market, according to American and Jordanian officials.

A joint investigation by Al Jazeera and The New York Times has revealed the theft.
