USA - shuts Megaupload website amid copyright infringement claims Euronews

http://www.euronews.net/ US authorities have shut down the major file-sharing website Megaupload and its founders have been arrested, accused of copyright infringement.

The site says the vast majority of its internet traffic is legitimate. But allegations of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to commit racketeering are also being made in the crackdown.

Soon after announcing it, the US Justice Department's own website was inaccessible. Hackers from the group 'Anonymous' said they had attacked it and record label sites as a reprisal.

http://www.euronews.net/ Passengers on the stricken Costa Concordia were told to return to their cabins, 40 minutes after the cruise ship struck a rock, according to Italian TV.

It has broadcast new pictures of the chaos on board the liner in which people are seen being given this advice by a crew member:

"On behalf of the Captain, we are kindly asking you to go back to your cabins or, if you wish, to stay in the corner by the lounge."

Morocco - Rabat. Jobless protesters set themselves alight

http://www.euronews.net/ Five unemployed Moroccan men have set themselves on fire in the capital Rabat after demonstrating against a lack of jobs, especially for university graduates.

In videos posted online, the men can clearly be seen dousing themselves in petrol after police prevented them from receiving food from supporters.

The men had been occupying part of the Education Ministry for two weeks.

At least two of the men can be seen running away into the crowd, shrouded in flames.
