La vicepresidenta económica española, Elena Salgado, ha dicho hoy que "si repetidamente no se hace caso de las recomendaciones" de los organismos internacionales "es cuando puede haber la posibilidad de sanción". salgado se refería así a la posibilidad de que la Unión Europea multe a España por el alto nivel de desempleo.  Salgado ha insistido en que "la sanción no es por el nivel de paro sino por no hacer caso de manera repetida a las recomendaciones de cambios en el mercado laboral". En este sentido ha añadido que "España ya lleva recibiendo indicaciones desde hace muchos años de los organismos internacioanles. Y de cara a si es necesario modificar nuestro mercado laboral lo estamos haciendo".  La vicepresidenta económica ha hecho estas declaraciones a su llegada a la reunión de ministros de Economía y Finanzas de la UE (Ecofin) que se celebra hoy en Bruselas.
