Anatolian Eagle is an air force exercise hosted by the Turkish Air Force and held in Konya, Turkey. There are both national and international exercises held, the international exercises usually involving air arms of the USA, other NATO forces and Asian countries.

Production on "Anadolu Kartalları" (Anatolian Eagles), one of next season's much-anticipated movies in Turkish cinema, is in full gear with filming currently under way at Konya's 3rd Main Jet Base, news agencies reported this week.

The movie, commissioned as part of centennial celebrations of the Turkish Air Forces, is slated for an Oct. 29 release, also marking the Turkey's Republic Day national holiday.

Produced by Fida Film and directed by Ömer Vargı with a budget of $10 million, "Anadolu Kartalları" is one of Turkish cinema's most expensive productions to date. Five aircraft and two hangars at the jet base in Konya are being used in filming, which will also travel to İstanbul, İzmir and Eskişehir throughout the end of its nine-week filming period.

The film's producer Murat Akdilek told the Anatolia news agency on Tuesday that the movie is of considerable importance as it is the first time such a project -- a film with many scenes featuring fighter jet flights -- has been undertaken in Turkish cinema. A specialized film crew was brought in from abroad for the filming, he added.

Along with the cast, there are also trained mechanics who are required to both act and take care of technical aspects of the equipment in the movie, the producer explained. "In this regard, this is a complete first in Turkey," said Akdilek, adding, "There have been short sequences of car chase scenes in Turkish films before, but a film with a quarter of its screen time devoted to scenes of fighter jets in dogfights has never been made in Turkish cinema to date."

Bolivia (2009) 104 min. Directed by Toshifumi Matsushita
On Bolivia's inland salt sea (the Salar de Uyuni), 13-year-old Kunturi and his family cut bricks of salt by hand, which they use to barter for goods. The Quecha people have lived and worked close to the land for centuries (the term Pachamama means Mother Earth). It's not an easy life, but still rich with friends and family. When Kunturi's grandmother falls ill, his father decides to take his son on the almost four-month journey along the salt trail (the Ruta de la Sal). Their first stop is the Potosi mine to find a friend's long-absent father. As tragedy and joy commingle, Kunturi is forced to confront the complexities of adult life, including death, suffering and, most sweetly and powerfully of all, first love,

Director Toshifumi Matsushita's fresh approach to the coming-of-age story is helped immeasurably by actors whose open faces and fundamental honesty can't help but shine forth. As father and son, and their huge herd of llamas, make their slow way into the mountains, the accumulation of many small details adds up into something altogether absorbing. A bit of bartered honeycomb, grief spun into song, dreams and nightmares--all are beautifully caught and the cumulative effect is powerful. There is deep warmth to Pachamama, a quality that insinuates itself gently, and with almost no self-consciousness. When they reach their final destination (Bolivia's famous Tinku festival) Kunturi feels the giddy euphoria of first love...

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) You're ready to break away from a stifling association to pursue new interests. Most of your relatives and childhood friends are a lot more cautious than you. They don't share your need for excitement and adventure. Fortunately, you've recently met some people who also like speed and danger. These new friends will be glad to accompany you in your search for thrills. Take care, though, not to alienate the people who have always been loyal to you.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Breaking free of a persistent fear will help you enjoy a deeper level of intimacy. It's possible a traumatic childhood experience or forbidding family attitude is stopping you enjoying your love life. By addressing these issues, you'll be able to adopt a healthier outlook. Find a counsellor who makes you feel comfortable. Together, you can devise a strategy for feeling better in your own skin, and asking for what you want. This issue is too important to neglect.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Friends will have an exciting proposal that tempts your sense of adventure. If you're single, someone will offer to set you up on a blind date. You'd be a fool to refuse this opportunity. This meeting will result in an exciting romance with someone who is witty and wise. The two of you share an interest in reading, history, and current events. If you're already in a relationship, your partner will have a rare chance to fulfil a childhood dream. Offer your full emotional and financial support.
 .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) The best way to land an important position is to set yourself apart from the competition. Be sure to stress your ability to do whatever is necessary to get a job done. Your new boss is looking for a candidate who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work alongside the rank and file when the company is short staffed. This will teach you how the entire organisation operates, making you an indispensable member of the team. Your open minded attitude will also earn you lots of respect.
 .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) You'll get a wonderful opportunity to study with a respected teacher. Be prepared, though. Your instructor's methods will be unorthodox. By putting your expectations aside, you'll acquire some very valuable skills. It's also possible you'll embark on a romance with one of your classmates. Keep your eyes open for a humorous animal lover. The two of you will have a great time having fun after class. Take care, though, you don't neglect your studies.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) An unexpected dividend, inheritance, or scholarship gives you the money you require to improve your personal life. Whether you're launching a big home improvement project or getting an advanced degree, you'll feel as though you're finally making progress after a period of stagnation. You can also get a bank or lending institution to underwrite a home loan. Having your own place will give you the security you require to be content. Choose a place which has beautiful views of a wooded area or park.
 .
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) A helpful friend, lover, or business partner comes to the rescue in the very nick of time. If you feel pressured, send out a distress call. Remember, people can't read your mind. Launching a website or blog will increase your professional stature. Be willing to hire a respected web designer to create an impressive, attractive site. Give careful thought to the image you want to project to the world. This will draw the kinds of customers you want.
.
Я всегда говорил, что я буду там для вас, но я не ум читателя, даже если мы соединены - Я считаю, родственные души
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) A fantastic job opportunity will become available quite unexpectedly. You must move like lightning to secure this spot. Fortunately, the salary will be very good. Remember this situation may be only temporary. You should put as much money from this job into savings, where it will sustain you during leaner times. These days, the economy is so erratic you have to take extra precautions to protect your financial interests. Fortunately, you've always been very resourceful.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) An unusual, exciting romance gives you a sexy sparkle. Your amour is always surprising you with their bold behaviour and daring remarks. People will be shocked by your choice, which makes your attraction even stronger. You've never wanted a predictable personal life, so it stands to reason you will choose a wild partner. If you're already in a relationship, take care you don't throw it away for a momentary fling.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Home improvements increase the value of your home and make daily life a lot more enjoyable. It's especially important to create a quiet haven where you can rest, relax, and dream. A workaholic like you has difficulty changing gear. By creating a quiet hideaway where you won't be bothered by the phone, computer, and television, you'll feel an immediate improvement in your health. Decorate this space with soothing earth tones, flourishing plants, and photos of natural vistas.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Taking a short trip for pleasure is a welcome change of pace. It's been a long time since you were on your own, away from the prying eyes of micromanagers. Fortunately, your destination will allow you to enjoy lots of outdoor pursuits. Jogging, horse riding, and nature walks will make you realise the importance of nature to your health. You never feel really well unless you get a little fresh air every day. Stop spending so much time at your desk.
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) An unexpected raise gives you more money for extravagances. You're not especially materialistic, but you would like to travel. Going to a country known as a spiritual nirvana will be enlightening. You'll love touring churches, temples, and synagogues. Just getting a break from your daily routine will be a tremendous relief. A dreamer like you needs inspiration to feel alive. If you can't get away, head for a museum, cinema, or theatre.
