Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes: Tuesday 7th June 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Unexpected circumstances will give you the chance to give a favourite job or private project a push in the right direction. You could be drawn into an undertaking that has environmental, political or international undertones. Recently you've been feeling trapped or confined by your current lifestyle. You're in the mood for a challenge especially if this gives you the chance to stretch your wings. You'd like to see some changes ahead but these can't be initiated as swiftly as you would really like.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) You're tempted to give in to the lure of a luxury buy but it's all about affordability. If finances are ticking over nicely beware of thinking you are better off than you are. It would be a good idea to leave well enough alone! If you did splash out to fulfil a sensual whim, you will only have to reshuffle your finances to afford every day bills in the future. This would probably mean robbing Peter to pay Paul. Ultimately you could never feel happy with such a scenario.
 .
Gemini (May22/June21) It is better to pause and reconsider if you are having second thoughts, than to plunge ahead. There may be a tug of war atmosphere with your interests moving from home to work or social matters and back again. You are making every effort to keep everyone happy but for some indefinable reason others are inclined to be irritable and even irrational in their expectations. As you start to realise you have been making decisions to please other people, you will feel less guilty about changing your mind over plans you recently agreed to.
 .
Cancer (June22/July23) Make a conscious effort to keep in touch with an old friend or you could be missing out on a fabulous friendship. If you don't meet up often to talk, you will drift apart. The occasional email or meeting in internet chat rooms won't communicate what's in your heart and soul. A relationship you were fond of isn't the same because you don't see enough of each other. Try to be more active over the days ahead and that way you can be sure your social life will start to pick up again.
 .
Leo (July24/Aug23) There is nothing you can do when things are delayed and pushing people out of the way won't get you there any faster. When you're dealing with a number of people from different backgrounds and cultures you are bound to come across differing attitudes. The quicker you monitor any faults coming in, the easier it will be to stay on top of it all and find a solution. A strange conversation with a colleague or friend will give you the encouragement needed to take the plunge into something new.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sept23) Most of the day you are in the fast lane and you have the energy and confidence to cope. Although you have to think fast and act quickly, there is a fair amount of strategy linked to your endeavours. Some cunning tactics will be necessary if you are to get around people whose obstinacy can cause tension in working relations. To keep everything moving in the right direction, you may have to steer well clear of those who you know will place stumbling blocks in your way.
 .
Libra (Sept24/Oct23) You're putting on a cheerful face but anyone who looks into your heart will see a very different side of you. Someone has been feeding you false information and you have a fair idea now of who can't be trusted. Before acting on your current ideas you need to find out a few more facts. There's a need to refer to more than one source for verification. If this involves the problematic area of business partnerships or joint investments there is no time like the present to reassess the firmness of your alliance with your present partner.
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You are learning that it can be safe, occasionally, to rely on your instincts as well as your judgement. You may be dealing with someone who says one thing but does something completely different. Trusting them to carry out an important task would therefore be foolish. You now realise what others are capable of and you will know too, that some people are giving themselves credit for past joint achievements they had little involvement in. Watch for anyone who tries to push themselves into areas they don't belong.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Expect to find yourself in a between two stools situation. You've taken some matters as far as you can and it's time to move on but there is someone who prefers to keep things as they are. Your partner or another loved one does not see the world as ever changing; they want to keep the same friends, stay in the same place and do the same things for the rest of their life. This would never bring you any fulfilment. You both see a very different future for yourselves.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) If you're falling behind with some work you have to do, delegate or call in a professional. You need help and you need to find out what options are available. Don't just rely on a handshake to seal a deal; get agreements down in writing. There will be people who will try to throw cold water on your ideas. This will make you all the more determined to go ahead and prove them wrong. Once commitments are shared and responsibilities are reduced, you will get back on track and feel more confident.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) You have talents and skills that could put you on the road to success along with one other important ingredient: persistence. Talent is not enough if you aren't willing to put in the time and effort to make something of yourself. Equally, knowledge will do you no good if you do not use your knowledge well. Stay positive and never lose hope. Channel your energies wisely, focus on your goals and hold on to the determination that will help you reach them.
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) You aren't able to give someone all they want from you. They are clinging on to a false sense of security. The tighter the hold they have on you, the more you need to break away. Someone might think because you're so kind, that appealing to your sensitive side will make you stay. It's becoming clear they feel threatened by any notion of change. Especially if this will take you to a place they may not be able to follow. You desire more independence and you feel okay about exploring new possibilities on your own.
