Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Thursday 26th May 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Just because you're ahead of the pack doesn't mean you act superior. You'd much rather make friends than assume the top spot. This is quite a change for you, as you usually prefer to lead. This situation is different. You're working alongside people whose talents are quite different from yours. By encouraging them to do what they do best while you focus on your own duties, you'll create a wonderful group dynamic. Keep your nose to the grindstone.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Beware of burning out, as you have a long way to go. As a general rule, you have tremendous staying power. Everybody wants your help. By stopping to assist them, you'll be neglecting your own work. It's time to establish some healthy boundaries. Don't be afraid to turn friends away, even if it hurts their feelings at first. Eventually, they'll see how much has been heaped on your plate. Remember, you only have one pair of hands.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Trust your intuition about a family member. They pretend nothing is wrong, but you can intuitively sense that something is up. Internally, your loved one is waging a war with their conscience. Offering a few words of wisdom won't make a dent at first. Then, when you are on the verge of giving up hope, you'll see a dramatic change in their behaviour. Try not to judge him or her too harshly. We've all fallen prey to temptation. It's just that everyone has a different weakness.
 .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Many different paths are open to you, which can get puzzling. You're afraid of making the wrong choice. Ultimately, you're the only one who can betray yourself. Stop thinking about what others want you do to and start exploring your desires. Travelling to another country, taking some time off to write a book and getting an advanced degree are all favoured. If you play your cards right, you'll make a name for yourself in your desired field.
 .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) You've always loved drama, especially when it comes to relationships. If your love life seems boring, it's because you haven't been honest with yourself. Tell your partner what you really want, even if it seems a little strange. At first, your amour will be taken aback by your request. Soon he or she will agree to your suggestion and the two of you will embark on a new chapter together. Single? You can meet someone special at a nightclub or antique store.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) People are entranced by your wit and intelligence and for once, your superior knowledge won't be held against you. Someone who is impressed by your intellectual gifts will ask for a date. You're not really sure how well suited you are, but it's worth going out together. The more you argue, the deeper you'll fall in love. It's fun to discuss your theories with a sceptic. Besides, victory will be all that sweeter when you are proven right.
 .
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Beware of getting wrapped up in a scandal; all the rumours flying around are just sensationalised stories. The truth is something far more pedestrian. Still, this desire for excitement shouldn't be suppressed. Taking up an unusual hobby or launching a daring project is just the sort of stimulation you need. Some of your work will offend polite society, but who cares? You're tired of doing the proper, tasteful thing all the time. Take a walk on the wild side!
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) Usually, you keep your feelings hidden. You have to be honest with someone who has become totally delusional. Pretending to agree with their assessments will only cause him or her more pain. At first, your blunt remarks will cause a rift in your relationship. In a few weeks your loved ones will realise you had their best interests at heart. Stand by your principles. They make you a loyal and trustworthy friend. That's more precious than gold.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Even if you're not enamoured of the past, you do have a healthy respect for tradition. This is why it's so important to be tolerant of an old fashioned workmate. True, their style seems terribly outmoded, but it does add an interesting element to your collaborations. The next time you have a disagreement, give way to your colleague. They'll be so surprised by your agreeable attitude they'll work harder to gain your approval.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Working with a diverse group won't be easy, but it will be illuminating. Just because someone is younger than you doesn't mean he or she has nothing to contribute. On the contrary, you can learn some valuable skills from this renegade. In return, you'll provide the team with a comforting sense of stability. Good news about a relative or neighbour makes you heave a sigh of relief. It turns out all of your fears were for naught. Let this be a lesson to you.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Don't worry about the practicality of a plan; just put it into practice. You'll discover problems along the way, but they won't be insurmountable. Besides, you've always loved a challenge. Your expertise will be invaluable when it comes time to show your work to the public. You have good instincts about what people want to see. Adjusting your showcase to win popular approval isn't selling out. It's an effective marketing strategy. After all, you do want to make a profit don't you?
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) You're sharp as a tack, making this a great time to learn a new skill or take a class. Your teacher will be impressed by your intellectual gifts, as well as your creative ones. Their confidence will make all the difference to your success. Don't be surprised when people start asking you to tutor them. You make things look so easy, even when you're doing complicated work. In addition, you allow students to make mistakes as a means to get experience.

#havejustwatchedONtv - "Baby Moma" - trailer - Starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Greg Kinnear,

Uploaded by on Mar 25, 2008

Baby Mama (film)

Plot

Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey), a successful single businesswoman who attended The Wharton School from Philadelphia, has always put her career before her personal life. Now in her late thirties, she has finally decided to have a child of her own. Her plans change when she discovers she has a minuscule chance of becoming pregnant because she finds out her uterus is T-shaped. Also denied the chance to adopt, Kate hires an immature, obnoxious South Philly girl named Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) to become a surrogate mother for her.
.
When Angie becomes pregnant, Kate begins preparing for motherhood in her own typically driven fashion — until her surrogate shows up at her door with no place to live. Their conflicting personalities put them at odds as Kate learns first-hand about balancing motherhood and career by catering to Angie's childish needs. As if this weren't enough, Kate begins dating the local owner of a blended juice cafe, Rob (Greg Kinnear).
.
What Kate does not know is that Angie is faking the pregnancy and that the in-vitro fertilization did not succeed. Hoping to ultimately run off with her payment, Angie begins to regret the lie but continually puts off confessing. When she gets an ultrasound, she discovers she is actually pregnant. Realizing the baby is her own (with her common-law husband, Carl, from whom she is separated), Angie is forced to confess at Kate's baby shower. When Kate explains to Angie that the pregnancy test was supposed to be taken two weeks after the procedure, and that the baby could still belong to her, it drives a wedge between the two women.
.
At the court hearing to determine the maternity of the child, Angie makes an impassioned apology. The baby turns out to be Angie's. As the two women meet face to face after the proceedings, Angie's water breaks and Kate rushes her to the hospital. During Angie's delivery, Kate passes out. As she wakes up, the doctor supervising Angie's pregnancy tells Kate that she's two months pregnant (the result of her relationship with her new boyfriend). After receiving the news, she goes to visit Angie, who is holding her new baby girl Stefani, named for Gwen Stefani, aka "Stef." Kate forgives Angie and the two become best friends, ultimately changing each other for the better.
.
Angie and Kate raise their children and are in a sister-like relationship one year later at Stefani's first birthday party. It is revealed that Kate and Rob are very proud parents of a baby girl and are engaged. Although he does not get back together with Angie, Carl stays close to his daughter and begins taking parenting classes. The final scene shows Angie and Kate sitting in front of a TV with their children, watching Tom & Jerry cartoons making a reference to an earlier scene in the movie.
