Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Monday 16th May 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Focus on listening more than speaking. Your sympathetic attitude will cause someone to confide a secret. This knowledge will increase your income. If you get word on a job opening, business opportunity, or potential client, move like lightning. You'll be able to make a lucrative deal that gives you more free time. Trust your intuition regarding a relative or neighbour. He or she could use a little financial help. Spring for some groceries or slip a gift certificate in their mailbox.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) You're determined to become independent, even if it means creating problems on the family front. Fortunately, your friends are poised to support you. Turn to them for emotional support when your relatives try to make you feel guilty. You'll find some great deals on clothes, cosmetics and toiletries. Go ahead and load up on supplies; you're long overdue for a splurge. A date, job interview, or audition will go extremely well. People are very receptive to your charms right now.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) The more connections you make, the happier you will be. Be sure to attend a party or business gathering. You'll soon get immersed in a conversation about art, religion, or politics. The two of you will get so wrapped up in your talk that you'll forget about the time. When your host throws you out, head for a coffee shop where you can continue your discussion. Although your connection is powerful, you never see each other again.
 .
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Take this opportunity to make some long range plans. Going back to school to get an advanced degree, writing a novel and taking an overseas trip are among the possibilities. Although you enjoy routines, your current one is wearing you down. You need a change of pace to get your creative juices flowing. Joining a group dedicated to writing, painting, or playing music will help. When you are surrounded by artistic people, you become more expressive, too.
                       .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) If there's anything you hate, it's being micromanaged. Fortunately, you will be given a work assignment affording a great deal of creative license. Take this opportunity to develop a service or product you have been contemplating for a long time. Your boss is eager to try something new and will embrace your idea wholeheartedly. Of course, you may not get the amount of resources you want, but at least you will be able to make an impressive prototype.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Be honest with a business or romantic partner. The two of you are tired of going through the motions all the time. You have to inject a little excitement into your life. Going to a foreign country will fuel your mutual desire. It will be hard to keep your hands off each other. Single? Head for a beautiful seaside resort. You'll meet someone with a sexy voice and attractive build. Both of you share a love of the good life; indulge yourselves!
 .
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Your powers of analysis are at an all time high. This is a great time to make an investment. Putting some money into a savings, college, or retirement account is favoured. Having a nest egg will not only give you peace of mind, it will give you an added measure of freedom. You won't have to stay in a terrible job out of necessity. Just the knowledge you can quit at any time will be comforting. Try a homeopathic remedy for a nagging ache.
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) An intimate relationship provides a welcome haven from the stress of daily life. If work has become tense, turn to your beloved for comfort. Your amour will be happy to give you a relaxing massage. Single? You have a good chance of finding love at a dance club, photography exhibition, or cinema. Keep your eyes open for someone with distinctive footwear. The chemistry between you will be palatable. This is also a good time to embark on a creative partnership.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) The ability to get along with all types of people makes you a popular figure. Don't be surprised when you're offered an impressive job. You wouldn't have known about this position if it hadn't been for an observant friend. That's what you get for being nice to everyone you meet. The positive energy you generate eventually comes back. With the money from this job, you can move to a nicer neighbourhood or find a bigger home.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Your creativity is at an all time high. Obey your urge to write, play music, or paint. Get your hands dirty with clay, dye, or ink. It doesn't matter what medium you choose, so long as it appeals to your imagination. Your work will give you a sexy glow that turns heads. Don't be surprised when a seductive member of your social circle makes a pass. It's nice to know your allure is still working its magic. A short trip to a seaside resort is looming on the horizon.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Normally, you let loved ones make their own mistakes. Right now you see somebody heading for disaster and it really bothers you. Take this opportunity to rescue a loved one from a bad property deal. Steer him or her in a more positive direction. This isn't a good time to take on crippling debt. Fortunately, you have a few contacts who know of better deals. Make an introduction and watch from the sidelines. You'll be glad you spoke up.
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Your creative talent garners lots of favourable attention. The trick is to broadcast your talent to the world. Take this opportunity to launch a blog or advertise your work on a social networking site. If you play your cards right, a local gallery will offer to showcase your music, photographs, or paintings. If you're a writer, submit your work to a magazine, publishing house, or website. People are happy to pay for your tips on decorating, cooking and gardening.
