Highlights from the London World premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 1.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, is a motion picture event, told in two full-length parts.
Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the Horcruxes—the keys to Voldemort's immortality. On their own, without the guidance or protection of their professors, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.
Meanwhile, the Wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One has become the hunted one as Voldemort's followers look for Harry with orders to bring him to the Dark Lord...alive.
Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale—the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.
Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that fateful day, he became "the Boy Who Lived." No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Your self confidence opens doors that are sealed to most of your friends. No wonder so many people are jealous of you! You can mitigate the situation by sharing the spoils. If you hear of a job opening, be sure to alert a neighbour or relative who has been looking for work. This tip will win their everlasting loyalty and appreciation. A big change is about to occur in your social circle. Be happy for someone who is on the road to bigger and better opportunities.
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Saving money is critical in the weeks ahead. The more you have stowed away in the bank, the easier it will be to cover unexpected expenses. If there’s anything you hate, it’s being in debt. If your credit card bills have already spiralled out of control, it’s time to take charge of the situation. Consolidate your bills and negotiate a lower interest rate. These days, creditors have to make concessions to customers. Use this situation to your advantage.
Gemini (May22/Jun21) It’s hard for an impulsive person like you to pause and reflect over your choices. Standing still is akin to paralysis for you. Still, there is a lot to be gained by taking a meaningful pause. You have an important decision in front of you. Take the path that will afford the most long term fulfilment. Going on a long distance trip, writing a book, or getting an advanced degree are all good options. Don’t be afraid to leave a lucrative job for one that promises more intellectual stimulation.
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Although you can be introverted, you do need the company of others. Force yourself to go to a party, even if it means meeting a lot of strangers. You’ll be delighted to discover you’re the centre of attention. If you’re single, you’ll have the pick of several admirers. Choose the one who sparks a stimulating debate. In the past, you’ve hooked up with people who share your interests and attitudes. Pairing up with someone who sees the world differently will be refreshing.
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) Giving a loved one too much control of your life is a huge mistake. Having separate bank accounts is essential, especially if the two of you have different attitudes towards saving and spending. Put more cash into a joint fund to cover the costs you amass together, and then have a discretionary account for personal expenses. You shouldn’t have to justify purchases made with your own hard earned money. Don’t have any income? A part time job will afford you more freedom.
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) A technological innovation makes your life so much easier. Feel free to splurge on a shiny new gadget. Granted, this purchase will put a big dent in your budget, but it’s only temporary. Besides, this indulgence will pay for itself over time. If you don’t feel up to par, make some changes to your diet. Replace fats and sugar with whole grains, leafy green vegetables, and fresh fruit. You’ll feel much more energetic.
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) When people take advantage of your generosity, you need to draw a line in the sand. This is especially true when it comes to romance. Too often, you give lovers carte blanche to walk all over you. Then, when you become tired of their abuse, you just get up and leave in the middle of the night. This time around, take the mature approach. Tell your partner exactly how their behaviour has been affecting you, and why you won’t tolerate it any more.
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) A desire for stability is interfering with your passionate nature. If you’re going to keep a romance alive, you need to venture out of your comfort zone. Do something risky to win your lover’s admiration. If you’re single, let a relative set you up on a blind date. You won’t be disappointed. Contrary to what you might think, your family knows what makes you tick. Breaking a bad habit may require more than discipline. Ask for professional help.
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) You’ll lose your cool with a neighbour or friend who is completely oblivious to everyone else’s needs. If there’s anything you can’t stand, it’s inconsiderate behaviour. Unfortunately, your anger may be disproportionate to their actions. Be ready to apologise if you cross the line. A short trip will be in the cards for you. Visiting a friend who lives nearby will give you some much needed perspective on a career matter. It’s more important to do what you love than earn a big salary.
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Standing up for your beliefs will put you in the path of danger, but it’s worth the risk. If you let an authority figure walk all over you, they will just keep upping the ante. Of course, putting your foot down could result in a fee or penalty. In the grand scheme of things you’ll be better off. Taking this matter to court will reveal this bully’s past abuses. There’s no better way to undercut their power.
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) You’ve never needed the approval of others. Maybe that’s why so many people are jealous of you. They wish they had the freedom to do and say exactly as they wished. Unfortunately, social convention prevents them from following their impulses. Therefore, they project all their frustrations onto you. If you sense some hostility, it’s because a relative feels paralysed by restrictions. Offer to take some responsibilities off their hands, at least temporarily.
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Getting involved with a volunteer organisation will put you in contact with lots of interesting people. You could also meet a romantic prospect. Keep your eyes open for a shy eccentric. The two of you have lots in common, but you’ll have to work to make the connection. Fortunately, your sense of humour breaks down their defences. After a few jokes, the two of you will start to warm up to one another. A date won’t be far behind.
