Amid a show of support for Syria's government, thousands have been
paying their last respects to the 26 people killed in Friday's explosion
in Damascus.
As a mass funeral was held, the state continued to blame 'terrorists' for what it said was a suicide bombing. Security personnel as well as civilians were killed, according to authorities.
But some opponents claim the regime itself staged the attack, to try to show it was fighting blind violence rather than a pro-democracy movement.
