http://www.euronews.com/ Religious sceptics took the streets of Washington DC on Saturday to celebrate their rejection of God's existence.The Reason Rally in the heart of the American capital was billed as a 'coming out' party for atheists, secularists and humanists alike.
Organisers estimated the turnout at some 10,000 people.
The participants said they wanted politicians to be less swayed by religion.
The event's keynote speaker was Richard Dawkins, the Oxford University professor who penned the atheist's 'bible' "The God Delusion".
