There have been five attacks so far. At least 28 people have been killed and scores more wounded.
The first was just outside the capital Abuja. One eyewitness said the bomb exploded in the middle of St Theresa's church during Christmas Mass. Another said the windows of her house nearby were blown out.
Officials said at least 25 people died in that attack.
