Egypt - army says sorry for protester deaths & Derrik Sweeney news / مصر -- يقول الجيش نعتذر عن مقتل متظاهر

http://www.euronews.net/ Egypt's ruling military council on Thursday apologised for the deaths of protesters in clashes earlier this week.

In a message posted on its Facebook page, the council said it "expressed its condolences for the families of the martyrs across the country".

The unrest is entering its sixth day. At least forty people have been killed.

Demonstrators want a quicker handover to civilian rule.

اعتذر المجلس العسكري الحاكم في مصر يوم الخميس عن وفاة متظاهر في اشتباكات في وقت سابق من هذا الاسبوع.

في رسالة نشرت على صفحة الفيسبوك والخمسين ، وقال المجلس انه "اعرب عن تعازيه لأسر الشهداء في جميع أنحاء البلاد".

الاضطرابات يدخل يومه السادس. وقتل ما لا يقل عن اربعين شخصا.

المتظاهرون يريدون أسرع تسليم السلطة للمدنيين

Joy Sweeney says her son, Derrik Sweeney, who was arrested in Egypt this week during the protests there says she's grateful to get to hear from him and knows that he is innocent of the accusations against him. (Nov. 23)
