than expected as the new government announced tax increases on income
and property as well as a freeze of civil servant's wages.

and exploded on a main road, setting fire to eight cars and a bus.The accident happened on the Panamerican Highway outside the capital, Caracas.
Authorities say the driver of the truck, who was unhurt, has been detained and will be charged in connection with the incident.

find safe havens away from the eurozone debt crisis that they are paying
the Danish government to lend it money.

capital Kiev.
In a snub to the European Union, the Ukrainian government has rehoused Tymoshenko before her case can be heard in the European Court of Human Rights.
Members of her Batkyvshchina Party are describing the complex in a suburb of Kharkiv as a 'remote prison colony'.
First Deputy Chairman of Batkyvshchina Oleksandr Turchynov said the move was sudden.
