Este año se cumplirán 50 años de la muerte de Marilyn Monroe, uno de los grandes iconos del siglo XX y una de las mujeres más fotografiadas de la historia. En Londres está el mayor archivo de fotoperiodismo del mundo y buceando en él han encontrado material inédito que se exhibe en una exposición junto a vestidos de Marilyn.

Australia - Sydney hit by heaviest rainfall in five years

http://www.euronews.com/ Sydney has been hit by its heaviest rainfall in five years, shuttering public transport links and prompting dozens of evacuations.

Several major roads have been closed, some train stations have been flooded, and power reportedly cut to around 300 homes.

The downpour follows days of heavy flooding across New South Wales, the state's heaviest in nearly four decades.

Rising water levels have cut the central town of Forbes in three and an evacuation order has now been issued.

The nearby Lachlan river is expected to peak at 10.6 metres later on Thursday.

A levee surrounding Forbes is 11 metres high.

Further south in Wagga Wagga, the flooding has eased slightly but hundreds are still unable to return to their homes
