وقد تم تعيين كبار المعارض محمد Basindwa كوزير لليمن رئيسا مؤقتا قبل الانتخابات المقررة في فبراير شباط وفقا لتلفزيون الدولة.
وكان هذا التعيين من قبل في البلاد نائب رئيس الجمهورية عبد ربه منصور هدي.
وقد سلم الرئيس اليمني علي عبد الله صالح على هدي صلاحيات بموجب اتفاق توسطت فيه دول الخليج الإقليمية وقعت يوم الاربعاء الماضي.
